Thankful Thursday, Hopeful Friday, and Pink Saturday Happy Thanksgiving Greetings

We are traveling to Vermont for Thanksgiving at my mother’s home. We might be having snow on the way, and there might be snow during our visit. Now it is really beginning to feel like the season.





Now while I am away there is Thankful Thursday at Rhondi’s Rose Colored Glasses, a wonderful expression of Thanks for Thankgsving.




I am thankful for the opportunity to get together with mother this Thanksgiving. She is 82 years old and I cherish time with her, and I know my daughters do too. I still miss my Grandma, especially this time of year. I can still taste my Grandma’s gravy on her mashed potatoes. She taught me how to make an awesome apple pie, which I am bringing to my mom’s. My sister, Susan is meeting me there, and I am thankful to be able to spend time with her too.

Oh, and there is Hopeful Friday. A lovely day filled with posts written about Hope.







Cielo at The House in The Roses hosts, and I found this scripture of Hope that I would like to share. Cielo is such an inspiration and her blog is such a beautiful place to visit.

Of course there is Pink Saturday, hosted by Bev from How Sweet The Sound, and I have a PINK gift for you. I am so thankful for all the wonderful friends that I have met on this delightful event.



I was inspired by a beautiful book called Sew Pretty Christmas Homestyle. They have a pattern for a nesting doll. Since I cannot sew yet, I used this lovely inspiration to create paper designs. Then I created these little Babushka Nesting dolls especially for you. There are three sheets filled with the designs. I thought they would make such nice tags or perhaps you might include them on a greeting card or in your crafts. I cut some out and hole punched them together with a ribbon to make a tag for a gift.

Pink Saturday, A Christmas Fair, And A Giveaway

I love a bit of pink at Christmas...



And a bit of pink on my cakes...



And well, there I was baking pink cookies for my friends visiting for Pink Saturday. Thanks to Bev from How Sweet The Sound I get to go PINK on Saturdays. And well I was thinking...why not mix it up and take you to the Christmas Fair? Bev was there too!

I went to the mailbox today, and a few parcels fell out of the mailbox, including this letter from Santa addressed to YOU.

At my table you will find my Christmas cards. Although these were designed by me, I had them printed professionally to give them the perfect look.



The original design is a watercolor painting, mixed with lots of papers and cut-out angels.




Underneath the tree are lots of presents for Christmas morning, and spilling onto the back of the card are more presents and a ribbon clad wreath.



Each box of cards comes with five cards and five envelopes. Your choice of green or red envelopes. Whether glittery or plain, you can find boxes of five tied in a bow HERE.

I have a choice of green or red envelopes, and boxes of plain cards or iced with Vintage glass glitter. These can be found in Santa's Workshop.






One of my favorite tables at the Christmas Fair when I was a little girl was the Bake sale. I remember cupcakes, cookies, gingerbread men and of course tall wonderful cakes for sale.





Come to think of it...yum, it is still my favorite table.

Winter Wonderland, yes New England has already had some white stuff. Brrrrrrrrr, it's cold outside, so Garth Brooks will serenade us with this song.
