Birds of a feather, flock together. Perhaps that is how
Twitter got it's name. When I first heard of Twitter, I thought "What are you doing?" How can you chat all day long and tell people what you are doing? I thought, how can they have enough time to do that? Too many questions, so I did the only thing I could do, I joined to see first hand what all the chatter was about, or should I say Twitter?

It's a wonderful resource. It is much more than chatting all day telling others what you are doing. I actually only post something when I post on my blog. Some people do chat all day, but what I found was this amazing network of information. A quick read to be updated on your interests, news and the people you enjoy.

I love it, I go on there and search for people, magazines, journalists, writers, artists, crafters, newspapers that I want to follow. Perhaps an update to what is going on at the
Museum of Modern Art in New York. I visit someone I truly enjoy and peek into their world of people that they follow. It sounds like allot of work, but it isn't at all. You can add to your list gradually.

I love visiting Twitter to see what Stampington is up to, the latest New York Times tidbit and what Martha Stewart is doing. Yesterday she was attending a dinner where the two founders of Twitter were speaking and she asked all of her followers if we had any questions for them.

Now where else could you have access like that?
Jenny Doh might post about submissions for her magazines, and
Claudine Helmuth might have an on-line workshop.

Yesterday I was on there and found the delightful
Pioneer Woman. If you are not familiar with her (doubtful as I think she has a gazillion followers), she writes the most interesting blog. I love her photography. Here are two cows that she offers for free on her blog under the category Photography. She is a wizard at Photoshop, so she offers wonderful tutorials. There are cooking tabs, confessions of the pioneer woman and other interesting places to visit while you are there.

You can design Twitter to be whatever you would like it to be. Creating a place where you can get updates on what is going on in your world is always a good thing.

The song for this post...I'm not kidding, is called
Twitter. Before I fly the coop...have a great day and maybe I'll see you on my
Twitter page.
