  1. Love your mosaics within mosaics. I think you'll have them all well memorized, Karen. You sort of have to in your line of work, right? Beautiful!

  2. Karen, your mosaics are stunning! From the flowers to the cute birhdhouses... loved this! I love New England!!!

Have you ever been to Ipswich? I meant to tell you this. The Whipple House there is one of the oldest colonial houses in the US, and John Whipple was one of my ancestors. We saw it on our trip through New England. It was very interesting, and I learned things on the visit about early colonial life that I'd never heard before. They have a neat botanical garden in front.

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  4. Hiya cutie!
Wow... you gardens are something else. I agree with you... I want to capture it all so we can revisit when I start to whine about the cold winds blowing.

Be sure and remind me of that come this winter.

    Love the music too!

    Have the BEST week.

    Hugs.

  5. Oh so true--I want to memorize these summer gardens too. The arrival of August is bittersweet with summer winding down and the flowers starting to fade before long.

    Beautiful photos,

  8. Oh you have a way with words and images that just carries me away...."I want to memorize the names of the flowers before the wind carries them all away..." says so much here, Karen, for us all. The memories of this lovely summer may get carried away with the howling winds of fall and winter, but will return to me from time to time as I look at images like this. Thank you for your never-ending inspiration. Anita

  9. Good Morning, Karen,

Your post is gorgeous. I love the mosaics you did this morning. What beautiful flowers. I keep going back over them and looking into each mosaic for all the lovely surprises.

I also enjoy the way you make your posts look. How do you add all those little flowers before each sentence and the fancy alphabet letter at the top? You are definitely a scrapper (did I use the term correctly?~ I'm just getting into scrapping a bit more myself. My friend and I went to a scrapbook store this weekend and I got some fun things I've not started on yet).

I hope you have a very lovely day and a great week, as well,
    Susan

  15. PS: Karen I forgot to tell you that my post is about one park along Battery Park City. BPC runs from Battery Park which you mentioned, all the way along the Hudson River shoreline to Chambers Street. It is amazing! I will post more aboout it this week.
