oday is Mosaic Monday, and Mary from Little Red House, is hosting this lovely day.
It seems fitting that even today, just like when I was a little girl my favorite things were reading and playing with my favorite doll house...
I still love The Secret Garden, Little Women and doll houses.
My etsy shops make me feel like I am playing with a doll house.
Putting pretty things in little rooms in little shops.
These places exist in some magical world, just like the imagination used to play with a doll house.
I love creating little parcels of Aunt Adelaide’s Spool of Vintage thread.
Then wrapping ribbons and trims onto Vintage spools.
I added tiny charms 
and ribbons to each one.
Sometimes I feel just like a child lost in her imaginary life in a doll house.

ReplyDeleteWhat a good repurposing of your dollhouse...I have two of them in my attic just sitting around doing nothing! I wonder if I could lose myself playing with them...nah, I am pretty much lost in Blogland as it is. Beautiful mosaic...I kept trying to enlarge it as I so wanted to see it closer.
