Thankful Thursday

Today is Thankful Thursday, and Rhondi from Rose Colored Glasses hosts this mindful occasion.
Waking up early to get my daughter up for school, I went downstairs for a nice cup of coffee. The sun was shining and Cocoa and Sam just couldn't wait to go outside too.
As I sat on the deck and listened to the birds singing and saw the sun peeking through the woods, I felt so thankful.
I love it when I am in the moment, not caught up with my "To Do" list, and seeing the simple beauty all around me.
Today I am so thankful for the morning sun, the beautiful fall leaves, my two little friends, this wonderful cup of coffee, and for this wonderful old song...Good Morning Starshine.
Please stop by and visit Rhondi, and look for the Daisy on her sidebar to enter the posts written for Thankful Thursday.
P.S. This is my sister, Susan, and the photo was taken in Paris. She painted the cup of coffee in this post, and she has a wonderful blog called One Knit One Purl. I love the music on her blog, it makes me want to do the "jig"!
That song brought back memories from my teenage years.....m....
Hello Karen, You and your sister are both so talented. She was the one with the collars too, right? And now I see she can paint as well. Have a happy day!
Good morning Karen,
Beautiful photos! I will visit Susan.

I was so freaked when I read how you were bit by a recluse. I'm so glad your well now. I know this happend years ago, but still it is such a rare thing to have happen.

What a lovely view you have, Karen! I love being able to take my coffee outside in the morning before I start my day. It's my time to reflect and enjoy the quiet before I tackle anything. Even though it's getting cooler, I'm going to try to keep it up on sunny days.
When you have time, please stop by my blog ... I've left an award there for you.
xo,
Lynda
