A Mermaid Tea party, A Mood Board Blog Party, and Another Happy Pink Saturday

My creation

nce upon a time there were three parties planned for the very same day. A Pink Saturday Celebration hosted by Bev from How Sweet The Sound...A Mermaid Tea hosted by Lisa from Faerie Enchantment, and a wonderful Mood Board Blog party hosted by Gabriela from Gabriela Delworth.

mermaid-seahorse-1What a perfectly wonderful reason to sail away to each party. Mermaid inspiration sprinkled the pink blossoms everywhere and carried the mood board from place to place.

mermaid-seahorse-1What to do...what to do?

mermaid-seahorse-1She put on her crown of seashells and sat by the shore,

mermaid-seahorse-1and listened to the wisdom of the sea.

Cape Cod

mermaid-seahorse-1As always the waves spoke such wisdom to her heart.

mermaid-seahorse-1She would simply write three posts. Yes, three posts were required, how else could she attend all three parties? So she created these party posts for you to enjoy...

To celebrate the Mermaid Tea party, you can pour a cup of tea and celebrate with me right here. Lisa Kettell from Faerie Enchantment always creates the most magical parties. Come along now...

mermaid-seahorse-1I love the sea,

Martha's Vineyard

mermaid-seahorse-1and the magic of all things that live there,

mermaid-seahorse-1Did you know that Mermaids love to ride sea horses through coral reefs and aqua seas.

Ocean spray

100_3116Mermaids can map our voyage with whispers of mermaid secrets to get us safely home.

mermaid-seahorse-1They have baby sea horse pets that enchant them wherever they go...

mermaid-seahorse-1They love to sip tea with the seashells ladies...

mermaid-seahorse-1I have been in a mermaid kind of mood this week and searched for mermaid inspiration. Here is one I created born out of trips to the seaside and dreams of enchantment.

DSC00945Speaking of enchantment...

mermaid-seahorse-1if you stop by Lisa's place at Faerie Enchantment your trip to a magical mermaid tea has just begun.

My creation

mermaid-seahorse-1Another favorite old movie of mine is Mr. Peabody and the Mermaid. The song for this post is Sundial Dreams. I hope that you sail away to all three places and are filled with inspiration, dreams and a lovely weekend.

Wonderful photo of the sea. Does anyone not love the ocean? I'm sure that such a person exists somewhere, but I'm feeling the need to get back to the coast soon myself. Wonderful story for a dreary Saturday. Have a delightful weekend...

My little seven year-old granddaughter, Emily was enthralled by your mermaid post. We loved it. She really loves mermaids and told me that mermaids are real. I asked her how she knew they were real. She told me, "Archeologists have dug up their bones." I laughed and laughed. Thank you for sharing your creativity with my granddaughter and me.
