Mosaic Monday & Blue Monday
Sunday, April 11, 2010
oday is Mosaic Monday, and Mary from Little Red House, is hosting this lovely day.
I attended a lovely bridal shower on Saturday.
The bride has chosen Hydrangeas as the flowers for her Wedding bouquet.
My favorite flowers.
I created two guest books for Amanda, the hand-painted one for her Wedding day with matching pen was wrapped as her shower gift.
And one filled with my photographs of Hydrangeas that I published for her, which was used for Amanda's Bridal shower.
The shower was gorgeous, and I can't wait to attend the wedding. My daughter is one of the bridesmaids. The song for this post is Somewhere In Time. The lovely glitter doves on the sheet music embellishment came from Nesting On Main.
Today is also Blue Monday, hosted by Smiling Sally. She collects all things blue from around the world. This is my first time joining Blue Monday. Stop by and visit Sally to read all the blue posts.
What lovely gifts!
Please stop by and enter my giveaway - I think you might make very good use of the prize!

These are my absolute favorite flowers and color of flowers in the garden. What a fabulous choice this bride made!!! How are you sweet Karen? Your creations are always my joy to behold. Have a calming and wonderful week. Anita

How beautiful! You are so very talented. I once used blue hydrangeas at a baby shower---a boy obviously! Have a happy Blue Monday.
Such a lovely gift, they must be very pleased. Beautiful mosaics. Take care:)
And my dear friend, you were THE ONE who taught me how to compose on the computer screen....with your words and style and vision of inspiration, you encouraged me to find fewer but more striking words and images to follow suit....you will always remain to me, an artist with more than just inspiration, but as an artist's artist....
Many happy wishes for this day, Anita
Lucky bride to have such pretty gifts. Love your mosaics.

When I was a young child, I loved to play bride. And, a single bloom from a hydrangea was always my bouquet.

Hope your eyes are getting better. How annoying that must be.

This has got to be the most beautiful mosaic post I have EVER seen! That blue color is just luscious & all your wonderful borders just set it off perfectly.
You are truly an artist with a keyboard instead of a paintbrush!
