I just love hydrangeas and there is a pink color mixed with this lovely shade of green that I adore. 
I was away this week visiting my friend Judy and she had the most magnificent bouquet of hydrangeas in the colors that I love best.
I photographed them from all different angles so that I could paint from the photographs.
But come the fall, my favorite shades of hydrangea are available to paint. This is Judy's living room and her gorgeous cat Inky. She has the most beautiful home.
These also dry beautifully. A florist once told me to leave them in a bit of water, and just leave them to dry.Besides admiring a bouquet of hydrangeas, I just love to paint them too.

I love hydrangeas too and especially the fall colors. I have a white one that has turned to pink and the almost red ones are pink and green too at this moment. Your paintings look fab too!

Hi Karen, I love hydrangeas too and my Endless Summer ones are still blooming but they are blue. My other bush is that pink and green color but I didn't get very many blooms this year. I have dried hydrangeas banked on top of the old step back cupboard in my living room. Hope your Pink Saturday has been the best. ~ Lynn
