Pink in Vermont

vermontI travel to Vermont often to visit my mom.  Along the way I always stop at Stowe.

vermontThe gardens at Stowe against the beautiful mountain view

vermontis always spectacular.

vermontThe quaint and the beautiful seem to bloom here.

vermontFinding pink in Vermont was an easy thing to do,

vermontand I knew just what to do with my photos.

vermontToday is Pink Saturday and Bev from How Sweet The Sound is hosting, so stop by and visit all the pink posts.

Nobody sings Moonlight in Vermont better than Billy Holiday.

Have a lovely weekend.

Dream

reaming, can inspire a creative way to repurpose almost anything.

Even the most unusual things can be turned into planters to decorate a front porch.

I dream of snowy days on hot summer days.

An artist might be dreaming of something completely different as he paints,
even in the middle of Newbury Street.

Even dogs have daydreams while waiting for their owner to return.
I kept a safe distance when I took this photo!

I dream of Autumn sweater weather on hot summer days.

A ride on a Duck Tour would be nice,
so I could daydream whilst looking out the window seeing the Boston sights.

Ahhhhhh, music always helps me to dream.

Why even cows have dreams to travel to distant lands.

Hot air balloon dreams often find their way into my mind.

Oh, I know, I know...I must memorize these summer days,

because when the snow arrives, I will be dreaming of today.

The song for this post is I KNOW.

This dreamy texture, which I used on all the photos in this post, sent me dreaming.  The name of the texture is DREAM by the lovely Kim Klassen.

I am in love with her new DREAM brushes.

This Texture Tuesday is the Dream eDition.

hank you for your comments on my post the other day.

Pink Saturday

Today is Pink Saturday, and Bev from How Sweet The Sound is hosting another day filled with pretty pink posts.

I just love Vintage dresses,  and I especially love illustrating them.  Sometimes I design them just for fun, and other times to use for my fabric designs.

Recently I wanted to try something new.  So, I designed a kit to create a vert feminine, very French greeting card.

I added a lovely quality card stock in gold, Vintage ribbon, the collage sheet with the graphics and a bit of tulle for the petticoat.  This one shown above, I decorated with glitter.

The graphic sheet has the dress, the Eiffel Tower for the back of the card and the postcard for the inside of the card.

I created the card to be as pretty on the front, as the back,

and of course inside.  I have included two Fleur de lis stickers and an envelope.

I put the kit together into a nice gift package for you to store until you need to make a card for that someone special.  I just added these to my etsy shop.

To celebrate something new, I am having a give-away.  I will be giving away one of my new kits.

Did you know that I think that YOUR THE TOP?

If you leave a comment on this post, I will select the winner and announce the winner on next Monday.  Then I will contact you and ask for your mailing address.
