Seven Weird Things Illustrated

When this you see remember me

I have been tagged by two of my favorite people in blogland who just happen to be a mother and daughter blogger team known as The Bowerbird’s Nest. Tagged to write seven weird things about myself. Now if you get bored, just link back to Jenn and Jacqui's blog for some wonderful writing and eye candy. If we had five star ratings on blogs I would rate Jenn and Jacqui’s blog five stars, it is my daily treat to myself to see what gorgeous things they are up to across the world in beautiful Melbourne, Australia.

ONE
The Rainbow DragonI am an extremely visual person, and can memorize anything as long as there is a picture associated with it. I need pictures...Therefore, this 7 weird thingy will be illustrated.

TWO
A cottage by the seaI adore creating mosaics, collages or anything else that comes in multiplies. I simply adore flickr toys and instead of doodling with a pencil, I pop on there and create a collage.

THREE
THE THANKFUL COATI can communicate better with written words than spoken ones, and often have written letters to my daughters when they were naughty. When I wanted to teach them a life lesson I would write a children’s story. Some of them I put on a blog to help other mom's teach their kids life lessons.

FOUR
bicycles in Falmouth I love riding a bicycle, especially by the shore.

FIVE
ribbons for ribbon lady I adore ribbon...french ribbon, satin ribbon, pattern ribbon, wire ribbon, and have memorized every ribbon store in Long Island, Manhattan, Toronto, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Hong Kong.

SIX

Baking Cookies I hate to cook, but love to bake. My grandmother and mother are wonderful bakers, and I learned how to bake from them. "Would you like some cake for supper?"

SEVEN

Artist AbroadI have incredible dreams most nights and have the good fortune of remembering them. This portrait was taken from a dream I had, and many of my ideas for my artwork are given to me in my dreams.

Okay now I am a bit worried, because as I reread this I realize I am weird. The good part is that I get to tag seven other people and find out what is weird about them, so I don’t feel so bad.

I tag my sister, Susan who has a gorgeous new blog called One Knit One Purl, which is all about her first love, knitting. I tag her first, because I have loved tagging my sister ever since she could play a game. I tag lovely Lynda from the beautiful Hedgerowhollow, and the wonderful Mo'a of Mo'a Romig Boyles incredible doll maker. I tag the lovely Kathy of Shocking Pink Thread. I don't know whether my friend Suze has been tagged yet, but I'll tag this lovely lady from Sues Views. Of course the lovely Tara of Days Missed on a Hammock and last but not least my new blogging friend, the lovely Rhondi from Rose Colored Glasses.

The rules to play the 7 weird facts tag are the following:

1. Once you are tagged, link back to the person that tagged you.
2. Post The Rules on your blog.
3. Post 7 weird or random facts about yourself on your blog.
4. Tag 7 people and link to them.
5. Comment on their blog to let them know they have been tagged.

SEVEN AND A HALF
I love old movies, children's music and sooooooo the music for this post is by none other than Shirley Temple, with a bit of fancy footwork from none other than Fred...singing Baby Take A Bow.

P.S. I have a weird little dog too!!

Love learning more about my bloggy friends. It's good to hear someone else gets their painting inspiration from their dreams at night ~ that is where most of my ideas for my classes come from.
Have a great weekend.
Blessings,
Sandy :)

Hi Karen,
I didn't think that any of your seven weird things were actually weird they all seemed quite normal to me, does that make me weird? Your Cocoa is just too cute what a clever dog you have.
Cheers Linda
