As you enter the backyard you are passing by my garden, I picked some Iris this morning for the table.
Here is the pathway that leads to our backyard.
This staircase leads to our garden and Gazebo.
Now watch your step as you climb the stairs, I see Cocoa and Samantha are ready to greet you.
Outdoor ArtIf you haven't already guessed Cocoa and Samantha are my favorite garden ornaments.
The table is set for you to enjoy a glass of lemonade.
Or if you would rather relax on the lounge with your lemonade, please do.A bird cage is hung from the umbrella.
I have saved the best seat for you overlooking the gazebo.
Here are the Iris I cut from the garden and I have the candles out for later tonight.
Now all I have to do is pick out some recipes for our BBQ supper.

Thank you for hosting such a pretty and lovely event. Rhondi always writes something wonderful every Thursday for her Thankful Thursday post. It dawned on me as I was getting my deck ready for this event, that once upon a time I dreamed of today. Far away from home in foreign lands I yearned for American BBQ's and sunny skies and the closest I could get to my heart's desire was in magazines and books.

After reading your generous comments on my little porch, I was thrilled to come visit your beautiful home and garden. I lived in New England (NH and MA) for 12 years and, although I've been gone 30 yrs., I still miss the loveliness of a New England Spring day. I regained the feeling of the clear, warm air today while drifting through your garden and 'sitting' a while on your deck.
