You've Got Mail

It's Springtime again

A walk to the mailbox and what treasures I found...

DSC00645My lovely friend Gabriela of Gabriela Delworth sent me this lovely charm on a chain. Gabriela lives in one of my favorite cities...Toronto. I only wish I had met her when I lived there. She sent me a beautiful note in a card that touched my heart. Well, when I think of crowns I always think of Gabriela.

Her new blog gets better each day with her beautiful creations, tutorials and classes.

Another package from sweet Bev from How Sweet The Sound. I met Bev before she began her incredible weekly event called Pink Saturday. I soon fell in love with this lady. She wrote to me and said to expect a surprise, and it truly was so special.

Selected Poems of Emily Dickinson! I love her and these poems are so lovely, each and every one.

The last package was the largest and outside of the envelope was an adorable message. I couldn't wait to get inside and open up this package. I discovered a really special artist recently on Etsy Called THESE ARE THE DAYS.

Mere paints the loveliest paintings.

Each one is a charming creation. If you want to see why I fell in love with her work click HERE to find the most adorable video of her painting.

So, I just had to buy three of her prints. If you go to her shop, you'll see why. She is one of those special artists that provide affordable art. Her blog is called These Are The Days.

She added a package filled with some tea. So, I sat wearing my necklace from Gabriela,

poured myself a cup of tea

Happy Monday

Admired my prints,

And read some poems from my new book from Bev.

I just did a post today about receiving parcels in the mail. There is just nothing like the feeling of opening ones post box to find such goodness. That's how I felt when I ordered YOUR prints and you added extra.
You received such joyful things in your parcels and the sunshine it gave you radiates!!
XOXOXOXO

You deserve to find such lovelies in your mail box!

I just knew that you didn't think it would be necessary to blog about your gift, I didn't expect anything else from you. You are so modest. Of course I did blog about it. I used one of your quotes, I hope you don't mind. I did give you credit of course, but I should have asked first. I hope you forgive me.

Have a nice weekend!

Anita,
I checked to make sure the comments were working correctly. I seem to be having a problem with the new Follow This Blog widget. Hopefully, it will work better now. Thank you for telling me.

Hi Karen! :)
What a sweet post! Thank you for including me! I'm so glad you like your prints! I've really enjoyed your blog and your watercolors too! The secret garden all pinked up especially! :) I'm very glad you found me so that I could find you! :)

Oh...and You've Got Mail...one of my ALL time FAVORITES. That one part, where Tom says, "I would have asked for your number and I wouldn't be able to wait 24 hours to call you before I'd ask you to dinner...and a movie...FOR as long as we both shall live." It gets me EVERY time!

First time I saw it in the theater...I was like..HEY! I know this movie! I'm a big Judy Garland fan as well as Van Johnson (He was so hot back then!) and had seen "In the Good Old Summertime" over and over again. Only to find out later that was a remake too...of "Shop Around the Corner!"

Meg & Tom were perfect for that movie. I even did a project for school on all three and combined the scenes from the 3 films to make the scene where he finds out who his pen pal is.

I have a post on my blog about kindred spirits...please go to this link...there is definitely something there for you! :)

Thanks again! I'm so glad to have "met" you! :)
