dress-form-rosesI am forever falling in love with dress forms. I can't sew, or thread a sewing machine and my bobbin skills are surely lacking. Yet when I see a clever dress form, my heart sings.

dress-form-rosesSo, I created a little collection of dress form creations for paper cards. These treasures are for those seamstresses extraordinaire, and the keepers of the dress forms.

And of course there just had to be a few roses...

Embrace the magic

The song for this post is La meme histoire. Have a magical Monday.

P.S. Addie Design's Shop on Etsy included my Chateau dress form in her TREASURY this morning. She selected some inexpensive and fun things to buy for the holidays all in my favorite color scheme, robins egg blue and taupe.

Ah the dress form. I have always wanted one so I could pretend to be Coco Chanel and create beautiful things. Someday.... I once again became enchanted with your beautiful mosaic and wonderful thoughts. I love the little girl, she is delightful and your dress form in ballet toe shoes , my favorite. Sharon

I love dress forms too and I think you did a wonderful job making that image. Funny is that I never see those cage dress forms over here, though they are supposed to be from Paris. Anyhow I love them and I don't sew either! Have a great start of the week!

Hi Karen, Just dropping in this chilly but gorgeous Monday morning to say hi. Love your Parisian mosaic. I have been working on transforming a dress form with old bark cloth and pink velvet for a year now and she's still sitting in the corner of my work room pouting. I need to get her on my website. Hope you have a magical Halloween week. xo

Karen, I love dress forms, too. And, I definitely can't sew. In fact, needles run when they know I am in the surrounding area.

Your dress forms are beautiful - and just perfect for people like me.

Hi Karen, Your mosaic is just awesome. I love dress forms and looking for one at the moment for my home. I will find it, I am sure. But how wonderful to view your gorgeous work and you know how I love black and white. I can't pick a favorite as everything you do, I adore.

Oh I am so excited. I met Judy from JuJuzBeads. She sent me an awesome beaded necklace in our swap project. I emailed her right away, and she, back to me. What a wonderful girl. I am so thrilled to meet her and she adores you and your friendship. I will show the necklace in a post next week.
Have a great week and happy creating.
Hugs, Celestina Marie
