Mosaic Monday
Sunday, November 08, 2009
oday is Mosaic Monday, and Mary from Little Red House, is hosting this lovely day.
My mosaic today is a peek into how I spent my weekend. I have been busy all weekend creating crafts for tomorrow. Kathy from Kathy's Cottage will be hosting Handmade Holiday. A showcase for what we might be creating for the Holidays. Kathy will be hosing Handmade Holiday every Tuesday on her blog.
When Christmas rolls around, I feel that same thrill that I did as a child.
Creating special gifts at Christmas is my passion, and if you could see my house you would know that I am crafting away and making special gifts for my friends and family.
Every space will be covered with all kinds of projects.
What's Christmas without a bit of handmade. My sisters and I make our gifts each year, and I think it always makes it more special.
Christmas, sigh my favorite time of year.
The song for this post is Christmastime.
Please stop by Mary's place and visit all the posts for Mosaic Monday, and be sure to stop by tomorrow for Handmade Holiday.
Enjoyed your mosaics, very creative and crafty!
Beautiful! And good to be working on these crafts the time is getting closer.
Now Karen you have put me in the mood for Christmas!!! There is snow on the tops of all the mountains I see from my home and each day it comes a little lower. So I made hot chocolate and viewed your post. Love the music and you Santa!!! Sharon

It's beginning to look like Santa's workshop at your home. I loved peaking into all of the wonderful things you are creating.

Beautiful images Karen...and they made wonderful mosaics...
This was very fun-- you are so talented and I vote you adopt me into your family! :)
I have to admit I am staying away from stores that are full of Christmas-- I am not ready yet... I am still enjoying fall.
So, if i am staying away ... LOL you know i am staying out of 99% of stores.
If you have a moment I would love for you to stop by and say hi.

Karen you almost make me like snow......almost. Kate loved her gifts and your beautiful card was a big hit. Tomorrow night we will start reading their new books together. Hopefully I'll have everything ready to join you for Pink Saturday. Still trying to get used to this new Mac. I almost want to give in and get a PC but I refuse to give in. I will have party photos and Halloween sometime this week.
Very fun! Now I want to get glitter and do crafts....
Pretty "crafty mosaics"!! Very clever.
Gorgeous mosaics of all lovely things for Christmas. What a great idea to change handmades with your sisters. Beautiful displays.
