Pink Saturday

So there I was blogging away, and well one thing led to another. I knew it was Pink Saturday and Bev from How Sweet The Sound would be hosting this fun event.

I grabbed a cup of tea, and started to browse around,

I was in search of some Alice in Wonderland inspiration, and fell into this lovely place...

Where I found cakes,

and sweets

and the most adorable charms.

They all belong to a lovely little shop on Etsy called Cute Ability. On Sharon's etsy profile, her words made me know that she was a kindred spirit:

"When I am not busy creating my Jewelry I enjoy helping out my Husband around our Farm, long Walks, Reading a good Book and spending cherished time with my Family."

Another nice place to visit, is Gardening With Soule, you must pay a visit To Teresa. She is a Pink Saturday lady who will make you wish for Spring.

A Dream is A Wish Your Heart Makes is the name of the song, and I have added both of these ladies to my wish list of dreamy places to visit.

Speaking of dreamy places, make sure you visit Gabriela Delworth's beautiful ribbons and notions on her new shop.

P.S. Make sure you visit my friend Joyce's Pink Saturday Post. Joyce is from Nanas Space. and be ready to say aaaaaaaawa!

Hi Dear karen~ I was having a Nightmare-blog-problems and was not able to publish your comment ,sigh, although I think the problem is solved and I posted so others that may have the same problem may be able to see what to do. I just want to thank you and to tell you that I know Tasha Tudor so very much . I had the previledge to have tea with her about 4 years ago and during that time ( she was 90) she was not showing her self much . I did not grow up knowing here of her art and only came to know the year before I meet her. Oh yes, I love every thing about her her life and art.... I was amazed how much in commun I had with her too. I am also fond of Beatrix Potter... who aren't ?grin! And today's time there are many others that I love their work as well.
I love to illustrate in the past because I believe it brings a sense of *calm* to the reader in this *rushed-world*. .. I also have choose the type of life that I illustrate and my own children are my source of inpiration. Sorry for the big note.... I truly love your work! Smiles~
