high heel shoedesigning something for Spoonflower Fabric and their weekly contest. This week the fabric is shoes, and I designed this fabric, if you click on it...you can view it in yardage. Speaking of Shoes, Spoonflower appeared on the today show the other day.

SHOES, SHOES, SHOES

muleBut I wanted to view it in a mirror image for the contest, I called it SHOES, SHOES, SHOES, and it looks more like this:

the piano room colored pencilI thought about my favorite musical instrument and what I might design, and then I knew, and if you click on the design it will take you to Spoonflower so you can see what it will look like in fabric. I am calling it With A Song In My Heart.

With a song in my heart

the piano room colored pencilI couldn't find a version of the song With a Song In My Heart that I liked, so instead I love listening to Michael Feinstein play the piano and sing. The name of the song for this post is Long Ago and Faraway.

Happy-new-year-2009-2What is your favorite musical instrument? I played the violin when I was little.

Love the shoe fabric - but, even more, I love that Evening in Pairs with the Eiffel Tower fabric ... I'm going to blog about it this week LOL.

I've seen Michael perform three times - once right up close. He's amazing!

Did you? Do you still? I love listening to harp music. Weird. And it's so seldom that one hears it. I adore a piano and I really like Michael Feinstein. I even have one of his cds. I used to love "Stay." Long story.
