Sending you a Song

Listening to piano music,
designing something for Spoonflower Fabric and their weekly contest. This week the fabric is shoes, and I designed this fabric, if you click on it...you can view it in yardage. Speaking of Shoes, Spoonflower appeared on the today show the other day.
But I wanted to view it in a mirror image for the contest, I called it SHOES, SHOES, SHOES, and it looks more like this:
Then I continued to listen to the music and thought about next week's contest, the theme is Musical Instruments.
I thought about my favorite musical instrument and what I might design, and then I knew, and if you click on the design it will take you to Spoonflower so you can see what it will look like in fabric. I am calling it With A Song In My Heart.
I couldn't find a version of the song With a Song In My Heart that I liked, so instead I love listening to Michael Feinstein play the piano and sing. The name of the song for this post is Long Ago and Faraway.
What is your favorite musical instrument? I played the violin when I was little.
Thanks so much Karen for letting me know about Artful Blogging. Yippee! I'll have to run out and get one.

Love the shoe fabric - but, even more, I love that Evening in Pairs with the Eiffel Tower fabric ... I'm going to blog about it this week LOL.
I've seen Michael perform three times - once right up close. He's amazing!

Did you? Do you still? I love listening to harp music. Weird. And it's so seldom that one hears it. I adore a piano and I really like Michael Feinstein. I even have one of his cds. I used to love "Stay." Long story.
It is stunning....m..
Of course, my favorite is the harp...BUT WHO PAINTED THAT PIANO DEAREST...YOU? This was as magical as always dear one. Anita
Beautiful, just beautiful!
I never learned to play any instrument. I would love to be able to play an accoustical guitar....

Penny
