Hi Karen! My goodness your peonies are spectacular!!! Mine bloomed a couple days ago and right on schedule EVERY YEAR we get torential downpours which have them all laying on the ground. If I want to enjoy them I have to go out and shake them off to stand up again! But arent they worth it!! Thanks for sharing your pretty blooms! Smiles, Lynn
we had a hideous storm on monday and my peonies were destroyed...i was thinking earlier that day of cutting some to bring in the house...but after the storm, all of the petals were blown off...she who hesitates is lost...or is without peonies in her vase in this case...ah well, i will have to be content enjoying the beauty of yours...thank you Karen!!!
How had I forgotten that June is the month for brides and grooms. Wonder if any of those weddings will be decorated with peonies. The peonies are blooming up here now as well, but I've not seen any as lovely as yours!
Your peonies are so beautiful! I love how romantic they look. I planted a white one this year and can't wait to have blooms to take inside next spring.
And a most happy "juin" to you my dear artist and friend! Your peonies are just perfect. Our neighbor's peonies hang into our yard and look striking against the lush green of our boxwood. Ah....the delights of summer. ENJOY! Anita
Karen, those peonies are gorgeous! Mine have bloomed and are already gone. Your entire post is so pretty, as it always is. While I was reading your post, I was thinking about that I had just visited two different bloggers who are celebrating their wedding anniversaries tomorrow. Yes, I think you're right - it's June! laurie
