I had forgotten how beautiful Vermont is Karen! I live right now in upstate New York, a hoot and a holler from Burlington and years ago my ex and I would drive all over Vermont on long weekends. One of my favorite spots was Smuggler's Notch, but at this time of year with the leaves getting ready to change, there is no spot in Vermont that won't take your breathe away!
Oh and I love the photo with the sparkle look to it....I need to learn how to do things like that....*sigh*
Have a bright and beautiful day!

I can see lots of pictures, but also lots aren't loading for me and I know that I am missing out. Yes, I loved seeing the last bit of summer flowers in Vermont. As you know, I love the Trapp Family Lodge (it doesn't sound quite the same since they dropped the "von"). Have a delightful day today...looks as if the weather has cleared for a corker of a late summer day.

What beautiful photos! Vermont is a gorgeous place isn't it? I would love to start in New England as the first fall colors show and slowing head my way south and end up back home....following the fall colors. Someday...

Penny

Karen,
That is a beautiful entry to Fall. I do love your vintage suitcase and wish I could find something like it to haul my craft things around.

I am on a journey. Greetings from Prague, where it is dreary today! My husband and I are having a great time. Do feel free to stop over at our blog if you would like to see the first day.

Vermont is special and I would love to see the Trapp Family Lodge some day!

I NEED to learn your secrets to the stunning presentation of your photos. I am sorry, but I just have to know. Now that I am a regular contributor to La Belle Inspiration on-line magazine, I have to submit original photos but mine stink. theeheee! That is the truth. I gotta get on the stick and learn how to take better photos or else my writing will no longer be desirable for the magazine....it just came out yesterday and it is stunning. My little photos are drowning in the midst of such LOVELY images from other writers...but nonetheless, I am in the magazine and I feel honored.

LOVELY as ever, Karen!

Oh I have always wanted to visit Vermont. Seems so odd to see the weather changing there. Down here in Texas we are still knee deep in summer. We have to pretend it is fall and decorate anyway. lol.
