I have always been fascinated by street performers.
Especially the ones who paint themselves from top to toe with paint,
and pretend to be statues.
Occasionally moving to thrill the audience.
I have always loved to people watch.
I love to see the expressions on the faces of the onlookers
as the street performer pretends to be statues.
Recently one street performer
really caught my eye,
so, I created different backgrounds and effects.
Street Performers always fascinate me.
oday is Mosaic Monday, and Mary from Little Red House, is hosting this lovely day.
Have a wonderful Monday. Street performers certainly are the masters at creating illusions, and can create a smile as large as a rainbow.
The name of the song for this post is The Rainbow Connection.
Fun post! I enjoy watching street performers too, although it seems to be a rare treat! ::Jill
oh, i love the last photo. she looks so
picturesque with the lovely flower
background.
street performers are favorites of mine,
too. there used to be such a fun one in
boston. as people walked by, he would
play the song they reminded him of.
so clever.

Oh delightful! That last young lady would be so thrilled to see how you placed her in such a magical field of flowers at the forest's edge. I'm finding myself hoping that she will have the opportunity to see her performance this way!
I love all the work you put into this post, Karen! This is a very interesting looking street performer and I can see why you likedd her so much!
Come see me in London--plenty of photo ops of street performers. Don't you love the way they brighten your day?

What a great post, loved your photos of the street performers.
WOW...a sudden flashback of memories just flooded my mind Karen! We used to love to go to Fanneuil Hall and eat, watch the street artists, eat, walk, eat, shop, eat, gather with friends, eat, ride the horse and carriage, and oh, did I mention EAT? FINNEGAL A BAGEL USED to be there; they had the biggest and best bagels around! The smell of the peppers and sausage is a comforting and VERY New England aroma I will never forget. THANK YOU!!! Anita
I'm speechless!! These are simply wonderful!!! Thank you!
Wow you have given the street performers some wonderful backgrounds. I enjoyed them all. I have seen an silver Elvis around here.
An absolutely fascinating blog and especially this post. I found you on my followers list and wanted to say welcome. I am a beginning artist, I guess I can call myself an artist, and always looking for inspiration. It is sure here. Thanks and I will follow.
