I was daydreaming yesterday, as I read Blondie's Journal.
Jane has this amazing way of writing that takes you right into her world.
Whether she is at her lake house, going on trips with her husband or just creating pretty places in her home,
Jane's writing makes you feel good. I was reading her post, Lavender and Hydrangeas Love.
I wanted to write something today for Texture Tuesday. Kim Klassen asked that this week we include one layer of her recent new texture called Phoebe.
The Phoebe eDition
Lavender seemed like a good topic to texturize. So, I used Kim's Phoebe texture on all of my photos, and a few of her wonderful stitched and Touch of Whimsey brushes.
I remembered when I first discovered the Cape Cod Lavender Farm. So I had plenty of Lavender photographs to work with.
Lavender inspiration...
Thank you Jane.
Please stop by and visit Kim, from Kim Klassen Cafe and be inspired by the Phoebe eDition for Texture Tuesday.
It's funny when you find that inspiration was by your side the whole time. The song for this post is Stars.
What a charming post.It gives me a lightened heart.I'm going back now to browse those you recommended.Thank you for the beauty-Denise

Lovely post and your photos are so pretty! Lavender is quite popular here where I live and there are so many varieties growing around here too. It does have such a beautiful scent, doesn't it?
I love lavender. There are lavender farms in Tx ... who knew?!!! I haven't gotten there yet, but I will!

Oh my, how beautiful. I love lavendar.
Great work♥
Great post, love lavender as a plant and a colour. The textures look amazing on the photos.
I am already dreaming of spring when my lavender blooms again:>) I have about a dozen plants and they are old enough that they have grown enormous! On damp spring days the pwerfume permeates the house. My cats lay among the plants all summer.
I think I smell lavender. One day I hope to visit a lavender farm. Never have before and this post makes me want to very much.
My dear one,
I went over to see your friend, and I was touched to see her sister's picture on the sidebar; what a young and beautiful woman to have lived for such a short time....like a flower. What beautiful pictures of my FAVORITE flower you have shared. It is amazing how one person can inspire another here in blogland, and then in turn, that person inspire ANOTHER, like me. MERCI.

Beautifully done, Karen! I love lavender and was surprised when moving to TX to find the Hill Country has a climate similar to France and so lavender does very well here. Several farms have transitioned to lavender farms! There is a festival every June that is very fun to attend. Enjoyed your post, thank you!
