After I downloaded Chrome, I noticed that they had a shop. I couldn't help but browse. There I found something called Pixlr Editor.
Pixlr Editor screen |
It was free, and when I started using it, I realized it was quite a powerful editor. I found it so similar to Photoshop that I could easily navigate around. Sooo cool!
Here's a little filter called Kaleidoscope. I took the image of Alice and clicked on Filter, browsed down the drop down menu and clicked Kaleidoscope. Ta dah.
click on this to see it enlarged and peek into the Kaleidoscope. |
Photoshop is expensive, I use Photoshop Elements, which came bundled with my Wacom Bamboo Pad. The Pixlr Editor is quite terrific, and has a few new filters that I don't have on Photoshop Elements.
Kim Klassen's Cherished Texture |
I hope that you have a great Wednesday, and if you would like to enhance your photos using your wonderful textures like I used today from Kim Klassen, check out Pixlr Editor. If you would like to read about it first, here is the Pixlr Blog.

Hi Karen,
Tea sounds wonderful! Thank you for posting about this app in Chrome. I've been using Chrome for a while, but I did not know about this. IT will be fun to play with it.
