A Blessing for you

A lovely friend of mine reminded me how hard Mother's Day can be for those who have lost their moms.

So, I am creating this post for my friend and for anyone who has lost their mom.

I've been thinking about how memories of our mothers are forever etched in our hearts.

I always imagine how they never stop being our mothers, and perhaps when they get to the other side, they are given the gift of blessings.

Showers of blessings that they can rain on their children.

Perhaps the blessings that we see all around us, are the reminder of the gift of our angel. An angel who will bless our our life in such a nurturing way for eternity.

Your mother is always with you...
She's the whisper of the leaves
as you walk down the street.
She's the smell of bleach in
your freshly laundered socks.
She's the cool hand on your
brow when you're not well.
Your mother lives inside
your laughter. She's crystallized
in every tear drop...
She's the place you came from,
your first home.  She's the map you
follow with every step that you take.
She's your first love and your first heart
break...and nothing on earth can separate
you.
Not time, Not space...
Not even death...
will ever separate you
from your mother...
You carry her inside you.

Such a beautiful poem. It just seems that a name should be attached to it because it is such lovely words. My heart goes out to those that have had mothers to pass on; my heart also goes out to those women that are not able to have children.
Your photos are magnificent! Thanks for a lovely post.
Happy Mother's Day,
Brenda

Exquisitely beautiful, Karen...

Although, I do not think of my mother as an angel, I know that she is safely home and I hope that she has influence with "the Boss." =D

A beautiful weekend to you. Just think, there'll be a new mother next Mother's Day!
