Picnics Big and Small

I've been away for a long weekend visiting with my friend Elizabeth in New York City.  I will share photos and tell you all about the trip later in the week.  It was S'wonderful!!!

Meanwhile, I have been working on some fabric designs for a collection.

I had so much fun designing this collection, I call Picnics BIG and small.

A Picnic Tea comes in a typical large scale and a miniature scale for the doll house enthusiast.

I am babysitting RJ today and tonight. It's raining and quite yucky weather.  I think we'll have our picnic inside!

So, while you are enjoying your day inside if it's raining or outside...happy picnic BIG  or small.

Oh enjoy your rainy day picnic... With a handsome beautiful brown-eyed companion like RJ, I know you will.

Cold, damp, and dreary days are best spent reading blogs, which is exactly what I am doing.

Karen, RJ is so adorable! What gorgeous eyes! Your new picnic designs are charming. Wish I were sewing something. '-)
TX is having a rare cool few days. I'm inside, but should be out in the garden working.
Happy 4th of July........Sarah

KAREN! I've missed you so! This is such a magical time of the year; my dear blogger friend Violet from Create Beauty has been making fairy beds, mini chandeliers and inspiring me. I'm working on poetry, but this season makes me think of the small things, invisible and unimagined possibilities. I love your collection here and your fabric designs; they are always bright and happy. But perhaps the most darling miniature of all is that precious little boy!!!!!! HIS EYES! His sweet little smile! You are having fun, aren't you?

Welcome home dear Karen. Anita

Another great collection! It has been raining here for the last week and a half and not predicted to have a non-rainy day until next Thursday! I'm about to start building my ark:>)

By the way, RJ is such a beautiful little boy! How I envy him that glowing skin:>) I would be smushing those cheeks with kisses, bet you do plenty of that!

That's such a sweet collection - what little girl (or big girl!) wouldn't love it.

Enjoy your time together, they grow up much too fast.

Lingering as always when I visit with you, Karen...and again one of my very favorite songs. Isn't it dreamy? It's like listening to silk. My favorite version is by Joao Gilberto. Sigh...so smooth.
Your rainy day picnic looks perfect, and RJ steals the show.
