I love this time of year

I love this time of year.  I can't wait for the leaves to change and to be able to wear sweaters again.

There's a hint of cooler weather in the air, and bunches of Zinnias are just $5.00 a bouquet.

Pots of Mums are in the nurseries ripe for blooms.

Tomato sandwiches are one of my favorite things to eat, and these tomatoes were too gorgeous to resist.

Yum, and apples, soon there will be lots of variations to pick.

This time of year, I don't mind being in the kitchen.  I find so much cooking inspiration everywhere.

Oh, and pumpkins are peeking out behind the vines.

It's cooler and much more enjoyable on walks with little RJ.

The leaves will begin to change and Fall will be here, it's just around the corner.  This is my favorite season, how about you?

I haven't seen the pots of mums yet. I always look forward to getting some. I'm trying to learn to love Fall. There are so many beautiful things about the Autumn!

Wow Karen what a beautiful post. I love fall also. For sure cooking is more fun when fresh veggies are available and the temps are down. Can't wait for our first bowl of chili. Have a great week.

Yes, I love late summer, too. Still warm enough to enjoy the day and cool enough to sleep well without running AC. Funny you should mention it, but I'm thinking of baking today. It's overcast for the first time in ten days and a little cooler and it seems that cookies or something should be baked. If I had apples, it would probably be a Crisp. Your grandson is the cutest little guy. A real dollbaby!

Beautiful fall inspiration pictures Karen! I love fall too. But I want to hang on to summer a little longer. We had a really rainy wet summer and finally the last few days have been nice and sunny.

Well, to be honest Spring is my favorite, but this time of year is so lush and bountiful it may be running neck and neck with Spring:>) The garden is as overflowing as I have ever seen it, and I don't know about your area, but we have had so much rain this spring and summer that the apple trees are bowed to the ground heavy with apples. It really is beautiful!

Dearest Karen! Good morning!

I have not even had a chance to blog, for though it is HOT AND HUMID here, the beginning of the school year is here and off I go every morning now to teacher meetings and prep time for next week. This is a sign of FALL for us, and I too cannot wait to see and feel the fall again...thank you my friend for coming to visit. Anita

Fall is my favorite time of the year, too. It's like taking a warm bath before a cozy sleep. Your photos are, as always, lovely.
