A nice way to start the New Year

So here we are back in Winston Salem, North Carolina.  This morning when I woke up the song "Nothing Could Be Finer" was in my head.

So, here's Dean singing it for you.

esting is something I am quite familiar with, after moving so many times over the years.

I love to keep journals of my adventures, so why not memorize this chapter in a new blog on Tumbler?  I am calling it Nesting in North Carolina, and I'll post photos of my finds to share with you.  Of course I will always post here on A Scrapbook of Inspiration.

I am in the middle of learning how to decorate a small apartment.  I am going to start taking more Instagram photos and posting them on my Instagrams.

Here's an instagram photo I took this morning of my art room.

As long as my art room is cozy, I'm happy.

Wishing you a beautiful day.

My daddy always played Dean Martin's records, and like him, I have always loved him.

People used to say my daddy and Dean Martin looked quite similar.

It takes a grateful heart to accept these life changes. The weather has got to be finer in Carolina, too! Have fun with your new blog!

I just started Instagramming, I'm a little late to the game, and I don't use it much yet but now I can follow you there:>) I'm looking forward to seeing your new home.

Oh, Dean, Dean, Dean, his voice is like butter. You KNOW I played it all the way through.
A cozy creative corner is most comfortable to me too, Karen. Enjoy every bit of your new beautiful home.
I haven't tried out Instagram yet, but I am looking for new alternatives to Pinterest this year...ones with "real" photos. I will check it out. Off to see your new blog.
Happy New Year!!
