It was a picture perfect day, so we decided to go visit the nearby Wineries in Yadkin Valley. The first one was hosting Plein-Air artists.
We continued onto the next vineyard and decided to stop at Brandon Hills Vineyard for our wine tasting.
Brandon Hills Vineyards. We enjoyed tasting the wine, and took a few photographs. This was my first wine tasting, and it was really fun. I had no idea that there were so many Wineries in North Carolina.
The three that we visited are literally thirty minutes away.
Our next stop was the Hanover Park Wines. I sat out the wine tasting here, one wine tasting was enough for me. But I memorized the setting here while Ned enjoyed a glass of their red wine.
- "A month-long honeymoon in the south of France in 1996 changed the lives of these former art teachers. Michael and Amy Helton returned home with a love of old world wine and the countryside, and by December, Hanover Park Vineyard in the Yadkin Valle of North Carolina began. Two artists and teachers took a chance, worked very hard, and turned an old farm into a thriving vineyard." I just loved the feeling of this vineyard.
Whether you are outside or inside this lovely place, everything looks wonderful. I especially loved their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She posed for me.
This beautiful old house in the photograph dates back to the 1800's and the Helton's converted it to the most charming place.
So, until next time, we'll be photographing all the wonderful finds in the Yadkin Valley and beyond.

Have a beautiful day.
I am linking to Mosaic Monday, over at the talented Mary's place.
