Home Sweet Home

Today is the HOME SWEET HOME party hosted by Louise from Whispering Poppies. Louise said that one of her favorite things to do was to create little vignettes around her home! She has invited us all to join her and show and tell our little vignettes.

Christmas Chandelier

This ornament was a Birthday gift from my daughter Sarah this week. It is painted glass from the inside which gives the piece beautiful effects when the light hits it from just the right angle.

One of my favorite things to do is decorate my bakers rack. This Christmas a very white Christmas seems to be my theme.

Don't you just love setting up a little Christmas village?

Kathy from Kathy's Cottage created this beautiful ice skate as a gift for me, when I placed a recent order. What I ordered has to be kept a secret because it is being sent as a Christmas gift to someone special.

Growing up, I always remember my mother having the table set. To this day if you arrive at her home, you will find the table set, looking so inviting and so pretty. I have followed that tradition for Christmas.

Corners are decorated in little themes...like my Christmas tree favorites on this little table.

My living room is very casual, and little touches of Christmas are on my coffee table. My sister Lynne gave me that Christmas duck, I love him.

All beautiful Karen! I see lots of pretties behind the scenes as well...your bricked patio for one :) and the Thomas Kincaid painting in the dining room...was I supposed to be snooping? Probably not...yikes.
Well, I'm excited for the ice skate recipient...and that baker's rack! I have never had room for one but I love yours!
