Thankful Thursday

As I sat at my computer composing today's post for Thankful Thursday, hosted by Rhondi of Rhondi's Rose Colored Glasses and listened to the music I was choosing for today's post, I thought about how thankful I feel to be able to be part of the Blogging world.

To me preparing a post is taking all the components of design and trying to use art, photographs, music and words to create a new feeling every day.

It reflects the way I see life and my never ending hunger to embrace all of the beauty around me.

Today I am thankful for the ability to blog. Whether I am working on a new creative project, taking a drive in the country or participating in a blog event, blogging is a new medium which I can use to create.

Blogging is an effortless joy, which I look forward to every day.

I am thankful that I can meet so many kindred spirits, read beautiful posts on lovely and creative blogs, and read uplifting comments that renew my spirit.

post 1-1

What a perfectly wonderful way to compose a journal. Orchestrating all the elements of visual, artistic and melody to create a feeling.

Writing, creating, art, selecting just the right music to fit the mood, and being led into the magic as you create a post.

Isn't it grand that we all began blogging and finding each other and built this glorious community...just in time for today.

Today, a time when we all need encouragement, beauty, and a place where we can get lost for a while. Lost in such a magical place.

The song for this post is A Wink and A Smile, from my all time favorite movie Sleepless in Seattle.

Good Morning, dear Karen!
Like you, I am thankful today for ability to blog.
I'd like to tell you that I am very happy and grateful.
Today the postman brought me very nice surprise.
It was the beautiful gift from You!
I am very grateful, dear Karen!
Thank you sooo much!
My lovely (yours), favorite painting "Cottage of Abundance"
will be on my wall very soon. It remind me about my childhood.
I'm going to put my gifts from you into my book (just I try to write) and they fit there very well. I am so happy!

As your fav. artist Eddie Chau said -
"No matter what...It's a wonderful life!"

God bless you and your beautiful job!

I love that post! :) Beautiful! :) Hi, My name is Meme...I would like to personally invite you to both of my blogs...Screaming Meme and Project:{Create A Home}....Screaming Meme is a decorating blog that I created to share my career as an Interior Decorator and Model Home Stager, as well as, share ideas and how to's on decorating, faux painting and getting a professional look on a shoe string budget!...It is all about decorating over there! I then created Project:{ Create A Home}...I envisioned a blog that women could all share in...Where we could come together and learn everything from decorating our homes to stepping out and learning new things that we always wanted to learn but didn't have the road map...Project: {Create A Home} is that road map! We have decorating, organizing, cooking, finance, technical/computer knowledge, family rearing, relationship advice, spirituality and uplifting wisdom...just to name a few...I hope you get a chance to stop in and look around...And if you have something that you want to share...Something that we could learn from you...Well, we would love to talk to you! :) I look forward to getting to know you!
