Pink Saturday

My creation

DSC01352Today is Pink Saturday, and Bev from How Sweet The Sound is hosting another pink festival. Yesterday I was in search of pink blossoms and a walk down Memory Lane...

Every Spring I can't wait until the pink blossoms bloom.

DSC01352My camera sits by my side in my car,

DSC01352And when I see those pink blossoms, I just can't help taking a photo to memorize the day.

DSC01352Once upon a time, when I lived in Princeton, New Jersey I walked underneath the pink blossoms when I first met my husband.

DSC01352As a young mother, I strolled through streets decorated with pink blossoms,

as I pushed my little baby girl in her carriage.

DSC01352Later I left my pink blossoms to move to Asia,

happy chinese new year 2008

DSC01352and I found the pink blossoms on Chinese New Year.

DSC01352I found them again in Ontario, underneath the huge Canadian trees.

DSC01352Now in New England I celebrate Spring...

DSC01352Capturing pink blossoms,

DSC01352in multitude,

DSC01352wherever I go.

DSC01352I captured these pink blossoms yesterday,

DSC01352and when it was time to go home, pink blossoms had decorated all the cars...

DSC01352Dreaming of memories covered in pink blossoms.

Wishing you a very Happy Pink Saturday filled with pink blossoms.

The song for this post is They Say It's Spring.

Yesterday afternoon as we were driving along and I was oohing and ahhhing over all the beautiful apple blossoms and the flowering crabs, I was asked where the camera was. You are a good photographer to always have your camera! Your readers are the beneficiaries. Thanks for another lovely post. Have a wonderful weekend...

Dear Karen,
This is the most beautiful post I have ever seen. You truly do have a gift from GOD.
The collage picture would make a beautiful poster.
I did not realize you lived in London...I collect post cards...I will have to send you some money to mail me a postcard from London.
Blessings to you also beautiful lady.
loved...loved...the post
I felt like I was truly there with you.
I noticed in your side bar you said it was okay to use your pictures....I would like to use one on my sidebar to put with a scripture and when they click on the picture it would likn to you...if that is okay.

Hello Karen! I so enjoyed the Pink Blossoms you captured for us to enjoy in your photos. How fun, that you've had an eye for them in every place you go. Oh, I loved the final photo of the cars covered with Pinkness--especially the car that appeared to be painted Pink!

Happy Pink Saturday! Dana

This pink blossom ( I think we call it an indian or japanese cherry tree) is THE tree of my youth. We used to have a small garden with only one big tree, this one. I remember well playing snow with the fallen leaves too. I love these happy memories, thanks for this lovely post! Happy pink Saturday!

Hi Karen! I love your new banner. I have taken to carrying my digital camera with me everywhere. Granted that the photo aren't as lovely as when you take a snap with a good quality camera but I am so enchanted with flowers and trees lately. I never realized how much flora and fauna San Antonio had.

Loved your post!
