Pink Saturday
Saturday, May 16, 2009
Today is Pink Saturday, and Bev from How Sweet The Sound is hosting another pink festival. Yesterday I was in search of pink blossoms and a walk down Memory Lane...
Every Spring I can't wait until the pink blossoms bloom.
My camera sits by my side in my car,
And when I see those pink blossoms, I just can't help taking a photo to memorize the day.
Once upon a time, when I lived in Princeton, New Jersey I walked underneath the pink blossoms when I first met my husband.
As a young mother, I strolled through streets decorated with pink blossoms,
as I pushed my little baby girl in her carriage.
Later I left my pink blossoms to move to Asia,
and I found the pink blossoms on Chinese New Year.
I found them again in Ontario, underneath the huge Canadian trees.
Now in New England I celebrate Spring...
Capturing pink blossoms,
in multitude,
wherever I go.
I captured these pink blossoms yesterday,
and when it was time to go home, pink blossoms had decorated all the cars...
Dreaming of memories covered in pink blossoms.
Wishing you a very Happy Pink Saturday filled with pink blossoms.
The song for this post is They Say It's Spring.
Yesterday afternoon as we were driving along and I was oohing and ahhhing over all the beautiful apple blossoms and the flowering crabs, I was asked where the camera was. You are a good photographer to always have your camera! Your readers are the beneficiaries. Thanks for another lovely post. Have a wonderful weekend...
Happy Pink Saturday!

Dear Karen,
This is the most beautiful post I have ever seen. You truly do have a gift from GOD.
The collage picture would make a beautiful poster.

I felt like I was truly there with you.
I noticed in your side bar you said it was okay to use your pictures....I would like to use one on my sidebar to put with a scripture and when they click on the picture it would likn to you...if that is okay.

How absolutely lovely! And beautifully photographed and presented, too. Thank you for sharing and Happy Pink Saturday to you.
This pink blossom ( I think we call it an indian or japanese cherry tree) is THE tree of my youth. We used to have a small garden with only one big tree, this one. I remember well playing snow with the fallen leaves too. I love these happy memories, thanks for this lovely post! Happy pink Saturday!
One of the things that makes my heart sing in the springtime is the beautiful blossoming trees and I love the pink ones so much! Our apple blossoms are touches with pink and smell so heavenly:>) Happy pink Saturday Karen!

Hi Karen! I love your new banner. I have taken to carrying my digital camera with me everywhere. Granted that the photo aren't as lovely as when you take a snap with a good quality camera but I am so enchanted with flowers and trees lately. I never realized how much flora and fauna San Antonio had.
Loved your post!
