Someday

DSC02633

There are songs like this one,
that seem to serenade your heart,
and awaken your spirit.

While the lyrics gently remind you of everyone's same desire,
connecting all of us with each word,
as the music seems to lift you higher and higher...

"Someday, when we are wiser

When the world's older

When we have learned

DSC02594

I pray someday we may yet live

DSC02640

To live and let live

DSC02597

Someday, life will be fairer

DSC02677

Need will be rarer

DSC02599

And greed will not pay

DSC02615

Godspeed this bright Millenium

On it's way,

Let it come

DSC02649

Someday

DSC02675

My creation

Someday, our fight will be won then,

DSC02689

We'll stand in the sun then

DSC02691

That bright afternoon

DSC02702

'Til then, on days when the sun is gone,

DSC02645

We'll hang on,

DSC02592

If we

Wish upon

The moon

DSC02618

There are some days, dark and bitter

DSC02604

Seems we haven't got a prayer

DSC02729

But a prayer for something better is the one thing we all share

Someday, when we are wiser
When the whole world is older
When we have love
And I pray someday we may yet
Live to live and one day, someday
Someday, life will be fairer
Need will be rarer
And greed will not pay

Godspeed this bright Millenium

Just found you...and I want so much to buy your "Summer Breeze" painting...but my hardworking hubby is tucked in bed soundly sleeping and he is the one whom knows how to order things for me on the internet...so I will have to wait till tomorrow evening to order...hoping and praying noone beats me to it! I too am an artist, have been since as far back as I can remember, 5yrs. old, and watercolor is my favorite...I am just now trying to return to my love of painting and dreams of being an artist. It has been on hold while mothering my four children. Your art is lovely.

Your photos take away my breath, they are so beautiful. Yes we live in a beautiful world. We might not find it difficult to share on a micro level, on a macro level it is different. All European borders are closed for the poor outside, as are the American borders, I believe. The European Union is first and foremost an economic union, as is the United States, to protect their borders from cheap farmgoods that they can produce themselves. Those borders are open for chinese goods that are mass produced through slave labour. Why not give at least 1% of the BNP to the third world? Why not free those 3rd world countries from their debts? Why not use a lot if not all military funds to human aid?
You know what? My neighbour has just visited Africa. She went there as a nurse to put up some medical stations. The people there have literary nothing, but they are happy! They appreciate the fact that they are alive. They don't worry about having far less than their neighbours. We could all learn from that (and pay them for this lesson!)
Thanks for triggering me with ypur beautiful post! Have a nice day! Enjoy the simple things in life, though I can see you do. More people should be like you and doing the above mentioned, the world would be a better place. But we start small Karen, thank you!
