Halloween

Welcome Pink Saturday Dearies, welcome Halloween Friends. Now watch your step as we pass by the hat shop on Delancy Street. I heard a story about a spider named Henrietta, who once lived in that very hat shop. She was sitting on top of a hat on Halloween, when all of a sudden a customer purchased the hat to go to a Halloween extravaganza over at a place called A Fanciful Twist...

a-fanciful-twist-castle-with-halloween

nce upon a time on Halloween's Eve...
henrietta-four

Henrietta Spider sat down beside her,

henrietta-eight

and stepped up onto the hat embellished for Halloween,

henrietta-six

She sat in the window on display, looking stylish but hardly wanted to be seen.

henrietta-three

She dreamed instead of celebrating the holiday wearing something dreamy, preferably in aquamarine!

Later that day a customer bought the hat and dashed away feathers, spiders and all,

When Henrietta got to her home, she read the invite and learned they were going to a ball.

Henrietta sighed she needed to look amazing, and she didn’t have time to go to the mall,

henrietta-five

So, she jumped down from the hat and began to spin the dreamiest aquamarine shawl.

My creationWhen it was done she fixed her hair, draped her new shawl and sat down beside her,

Everyone was excited to go to the party and have their costumes seen,

Well, we must all join Henrietta Spider and rush to meet all the guests that she just could not resist,

6a00d83451d99869e20120a55900a1970c-800wiWe are all invited to meet Miss Vanessa at A Hauntingly Magical Celebration at a Fanciful Twist.

The song for this post is Disneyland Halloween. Pink Saturday Guests can also usher to the right and visit Miss Beverly at How Sweet The Sound. The Halloween black embellishments from the amazing Rhonna Farrer. Thank you to my daughter Sarah for posing with this lovely Halloween Bonnet and Miss Henrietta Spider.

Thank you Vanessa for hosting such a fun annual event. Thank you Beverly for never disappointing us and creating a weekly Pink day for us all to enjoy.

Hello Karen! Happy pink halloween Saturday to you and the lovely Miss Henrietta! She is too cute and all colors suit her! Great that your daughter cooperates too. Isn't it fun that a lot of bloggers have children who think it's quite normal to take photos in the middle of the night (my daughter last night) or pose with any kind of hat! Bloggers and their families are the best!
