Finding Beauty

Claudia from Dipity Road is hosting a new day called Finding Beauty. Claudia really takes the most gorgeous photographs and I just love the idea of finding the beauty that is all around us.

I love capturing the sunsets...

After The Rain

Sunset ReflectionThe other night heading back from New Hampshire I could see the sunset in the distance and it was calling me. I turned off an exit and was clueless to where I was, but I followed the sunset and arrived here just in time to capture the last bits.

Sunset ReflectionLast week while in Concord, I took this one overlooking Walden Pond.

Sunset ReflectionDown by Old Silver Beach on the Cape, one night on the way home I just had to capture this sky. It looked like a staircase from heaven was dancing in the middle of this beautiful sunset. Turned out it was the Fall Equinox.

Sunset ReflectionClaudia, here is a favorite of mine, the sunset as seen through some balloons. Happy 100th post!

Wow - totally gorgeous. Vermont seems to be the New England state everyone talks about but when I went there I thought NH was THE most beautiful of them all. How lucky you are to live near this beautiful place. Have a wonderful day, Karen!

I find it fascinating that you "answer the call." I've heard the call; I do not answer. I say that I have no time for such things; I see what I am missing.

Beautiful, no, exquisite photos, as always.

Happy Friday to you!

Fabulous photos, I love sunsets. But the one with the balloons is my favorite also, such a different perspective. Always fun to see what another sees with through their camera's eye. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Karen
I also LOVE the balloon sunset. Spectacular. We live on the river and face West...our sunsets are magical like the ones you captured along your path.

Oh Karen, I missed this post this morning when I was trying to catch up before I went to work! It is beautiful, as always! Thank you also for visiting my writing blog. Yes, writing is such a powerful tool to help clarify things. I need that in my life right now; I have so many things on my plate, I can't even think straight!! When I am done with my master's thesis defense next week and my final class at the end of the month, I hope to really take the plunge and write more. Thank you for your support my friend! Anita

Hello there dear Karen,
My long lost bloggy friend! I am sorry I have not been over to visit your absolutely fabulous blog in a while! It is always a pleasure to visit here. I like the Friday them! It suits you well and the picture used in the button for the "Finding the Beauty" theme is absolutely gorgeous! Is that a home from someone's dream? Can that really be real? If it is I want to know where I can find that place...or is it a storefront...has to be a storefront.
Anyway, enough of that. I've missed your blog.
