I love this, Karen, and I had to chuckle at the shoe with the platform sole. I can distinctly remember dancing in a black pair just like those and dancing on a countertop in a frat house where I was a little sister. LOL! No it was not Animal House. As I recall, I think I might have even been doing the Pony (long after it was fashionable) for a joke because I did things like that on a dare. LOL! Miracle of miracle I survived, but the shoes did not. Ah, the carefree days of youth! I even think I shot hoops in them. Deliver me! :-)
Your thinking always produces the most lovely and fun pieces of art my dear....I hope you are well. You are in my thoughts for you are a kind and special friend.
Bisous and keep up with the shoes, this is fun! Anita
Hi Karen, I love the shoes, I can remember wearing the platform shoes just like it was yesterday (70 style). I would hurt myself now LOL. Your dinning table all dressed is lovely and peaceful. So very pretty. Take care and enjoy your day, Elizabeth

I love the white washed shoes being used as flower holders! so sweet.
Argh - platform shoes. I can remember my mother telling me to stop walking like Frankenstein every time I left the house.
What a fun post!

Thinking about shoes... I used to love shoes. Not so much anymore. My grandmother still talks about her favorite pairs of shoes.
