The lovely Rhondi of
Rhondi's Rose Colored Glasses is hosting Tea Party Tuesday. I didn't know what colors I might use for my tea party, then...
It all started...
when my daughter bought me a bouquet of flowers.
Then I knew just how I would set the table for tea. I used my favorite blue tablecloth from Toronto.
I used my favorite tea pot from Hong Kong, for some nice raspberry tea.
Vintage glass tea dishes and tea cups.
A Chandelier prism and ribbon for napkin rings.
I set the table for tea for two.
A fire in the fireplace, and a bit of berry pie.
The song for this post is
Tea For Two.Please visit

Everything is so pretty, Karen. I think this is the first time I caught a glimpse of your lovely home other than your studio. How wonderful to have a fireplace near your table. Oh, I'd love that on a cold morning!! I love all your tea things from Hong Kong...you must have a treasure trove of memories from there...

Such a lovely spot to have tea. I love raspberry tea too! Having tea by the fire makes it so much more special with these cold days lingering on.
Your crystal and ribbon napkin holders are fabulous!
What a great way to wake up and to visit you at your lovely teaparty! I love that every item of you isn't only beautiful, it has a story too! Don't drink too much tea today!
I will visit you for tea anytime Karen; not only would your décor and home charm me, but just to sit across from you and listen to your voice would be such a warm treat!
Have a lovely day my friend, Anita
so pretty Karen...tea by a roaring fire...that sounds good to me right now...and berry pie, well that makes it even better...
Good Morning Karen, how lovely that your daughter brought you flowers!! They are beautiful and the perfect centerpiece for your tea party. You are so creative friend, and such a delight to me!

Good morning Karen
I love the wonderfully creative way you set your table. Such a lovely teapot and the vintage glass plates with matching cups are so pretty. On a dull damp day like today there is nothing I would enjoy more than sitting by a fire with a friend and a hot cup of tea!
Thanks for the berry pie too. That is so cute that your husband had a piece before you got the photo taken.
Hugs, Rhondi

Gorgeous, what a beautiful tea setting. I love the tablecloth and the antique plate and cup are wonderful. I also drooled over your mantel in the background. It looks stunning too. Thanks so much for joining the party. Hugs, Marty
