Happiness is...

DSC06528To look at my fingers, you would guess that I was painting again right?

DSC06509

DSC06528Last week I went to Brimfield's Antique Market with my daughter and we walked passed dozens and dozens of tents.

DSC06501

DSC06528Well, happiness is also bringing back finds from the largest Antique Market in the country. Wares from furniture to beads, to notion heaven.

DSC06512

DSC06528My daughter asked me, "Mom aren't you going to go inside any of these tents?"

DSC06507

DSC06528I said, "let's keep walking I'll know when I see a tent that I want to browse in", and we walked a bit further. Then I saw it, the most magnificent tent, with lovely vignettes and beautiful displays.

As I browsed, who should come around the corner but the lovely Keri, from Antique Therapy. It was her tent. If you would like to see the gorgeous tent, and Brimfield's in a Nutshell...just pay Keri a visit on her blog.

I created some fabric with a purchase from Keri, an Antique sheet of French Homework.

French Homework If you click on the image, you can see what it would look like in fabric.

DSC06528Nesting on Main's tent was right next door with Melissa and Cary from Thoreauly Antiques sharing that tent.

DSC06154

DSC06528Before leaving I stopped by a huge tent only to meet the amazing Rosemary Warren of Tinsel Trading Company. I found a stash of flowers, vintage ribbons and beautiful tapestry squares, all in one huge bag.

DSC06528The beautiful Elyse from Tinkered Treasures has a gorgeous post about Brimfield's. She met Wendy Addison and Marcia Cepos the day that she went.

DSC06528Oh, about that paint on my fingers. My happiness...simple really...

DSC06528Here is a peek at my new recipe, which I will reveal completed soon.

I haven't been to Brimfield in years ... I was banned after, ahem, going a tad overboard one year.

Suffice to say, it involved the necessity of renting a truck to get the stuff back home.

I hope I'm paroled some year soon.

You found great stuff! - I had no idea Tinsel Trading was there!
