London Bridges
Tuesday, July 13, 2010
I was watching an old movie the other evening,
that took place in London.
Lovely memories came flooding back.
Inspired, I created a treasury on etsy, my new passion.
I called it London Bridges, oh please stop by and leave a comment for these lovely finds on etsy.
What a wonderful city.
Everywhere you turn
there is a bit
of interesting history.
Watching the street performers
in Covent Garden.
Touring
the vistas
from a boxcar
on the London Eye.
I love London, it is such a magical city.
Speaking of London, have you ever visited Debi from A Tale of Two Cities, she writes an adorable post about Paddington Bear. She just visited a wonderful Antique Market in London yesterday which she wrote about on her blog.
I added a new photo to my etsy shop today. It's a photo collage using my photo of Buckingham Palace as the background.
The name of the song for this post is Never Say Goodbye.
Please feel free to take any other photos from this post for your personal use. I enhanced them with the love I knew from memories belonging to another chapter of my life. Have a lovely day.
Claudia from Dippity Road is hosting Finding Beauty Friday.
Beauty can be found when we walk through the memories that defined special chapters of our lives.
Please stop by and visit Claudia's reminders that beauty is around us every day and days gone by.
I will definitely set aside time to go see your treasury on Etsy tomorrow morning Karen.
The pictures you posted are amazing and I do wish I could visit London someday.
I think though I would pass on riding the giant Ferris wheel, just a little too daring for me, :)

Karen,
What a fascinating collection of London views in several different mediums. I really enjoyed looking at them all here and on Etsy. Thanks for mentioning my blog today--I'm off to meet some gals for lunch near Covent Garden for some Mexican food today. A little bit of Tex-Mex for a gal who misses it from home.
You are inspiring,
Debi
Good morning dear Karen...I have never been to Londres, but Europe, HERE I COME, again sometime in the near future. I so love the way you enhanced the photos; they look as lovely as the watercolors that you create, speaking of which, your wonderful advice to me about watercoloring has really opened my eyes! I was visiting a friend yesterday whose son, only 11 years old is a remarkable watercolorist. His paintings that were on her mantle, looked as if they were done by an adult seasoned artist. A SUGGESTION, as you put it, made these pieces stand out to me, negating any former idea I had about illustrating first and then using watercolors as if I were using a crayon!!!! Now, to find the time to do it....but thank you so much for all the encouragement. Now, to go and get into Spoonflower and proceed with the order!!!
Good day my friend, Anita
This is the joy of reading your blog...one day in Massachusetts and the very next in London. Blessed me to enjoy all the places I may never get to visit. London has always been on my list, though.
Karen, you have been so busy creating such beautiful things.
I loved seeing London's wonder through your eyes.
We share that love of London, Karen. I think it might well be my favorite city in the world. It is just a paradise of architecture and wonderfulness, and this post speaks to that. Thank you. I feel like I just took a trip there.
XO,
Sheila :-)
I've never had the chance to visit there. But the photos here are stunning!

Dearest friend! Thank you for visiting my post this morning....and yes, I just barely discovered Sandra's work of art yesterday via a young tech worker at the Apple store! I am in the middle of preparing an article, and the inspiration theme I am working on just coincided with what I saw. I had sent you an email, and I haven't heard from you, but what would be the total for the final decision that I made.....please let me know when you can dear friend! Merci, Anita
