Today is Pink Saturday, and Bev from How Sweet The Sound is hosting this pink day. Today I am letting you now how Happy...
Happy
HAPPY I am!
Not since I fell in love with framing years ago, have I been so delighted.
I just got back some lovely photographs from my new printer, printed on a Pearl photo paper by Fiji.
Happy as a bird in a nest |
Oh I was so happy, and then I got an e-mail from Gay who has this lovely place called, I dreamed I saw...She wrote a post called Words and Images.
If you click on the image you can see what it looks like in fabric |
She let me know that she featured my French script fabrics! I call this fabric above, Anita's Inspiration. Anita from Castles Crowns and Cottages inspired this fabric design. I took my French script from 1609 on parchment and created fabric. Anita gave me tips on how other's design script and it was her idea to add the birds. So, I found an Antique book which had those birds on the cover.
I was so happy, and then the lovely Laura Blanck from Openstudiobeads on etsy included my Peony Perfection on her treasury which she calls Getaway.
What a happy day!
Speaking of Happy Days, Kelee from Kadilacshak, a special Pink Saturday Lady has a wonderful announcement. So please stop by and visit Kelee today.
Only fitting that your work should draw so much attention--it's so beautiful--the peony picture is incredible.

The peony framed pictue is exquisite. I could smell them through the frame. What a beautiful gift from God. Smell, color and even texture. Isn't he fabulous with his paintbrush?
I am so thrilled that Anita suggested the little birds to the French writing. It is just the right touch, just perfect.
