I often know how Alfred Hitchcock got the idea for the movie The Birds. Fall does something crazy to birds.
Stop all the commotion, go south already!
and then there is always that show stopper!
I just love them sitting up there.
I love books about birds, especially for the love of old books.
And I love any chance at all to design with them. If you click on little yellow bird you'll see fabric.
and this one is fabric too!
And sometimes I just like to design for you...to decorate a post. 
birds, such little creatures, but...
they continue to be my favorite decorations to see peeking in my window, in a design or just sitting on my mantle.
Birds decorate our lives inside and outside.
And then there is my favorite art blog called Gennine's Art Blog, now that girl can paint a bird that touches your heart. Wishing you a day filled with bluebirds and inspiration.
And as far as our house, you will always find a vignette or two with birds decorating a corner. The song for this post is Bluebird.

We are right on track again today! I have some birds to post! lol I love birds and we got our feeders out yesterday and saw some sweet chipping sparrows! ♥
I love birds, I have a real bird...Nina, the parrot. She is a cutie but camera shy. Birds represent freedom to me and I think we all want to feel that. And when they nest to raise their young, that is our maternal side. {this is my feeble attempt at making sense of why I love birds so!}.

Am I the only one on this earth that is frightened of birds...ever since I was a little girl and watched "The Birds" by Hitchcock.
The only birds I'm not scared of are doves and humming birds...I'm such a wimp......LOL

I always race over here after I get off from work and I somehow get re-energized. Birds are so beautiful and I have several of them around my home. I recently placed two little ones in my Fall centerpiece on my table. I need to place some bird feeders outside so I can enjoy sitting out back and watch them fly back and forth.

I had a cute bird pay a visit the other day, and he perched for a drink on the side of the fountain. I will post his conversation with the fountain boy at some point. ;-)

Karen I love all the birds in this sweet post! Whenever I see birds lined up on telephone wires I think they look like musical notes.
The migration seems to slower this year. By this time of the year my park is usually full of geese flying south. hardly one has stopped by as yet!

Love to watch the birds.. I once saw a flock of birds fly into a barren tree and when they settled it looked like the tree had leaves again.
I also watched a flock of robins take up a whole block after a rain when we were in Florida. To flow through the air like they do..what an adventure that would be.
Birds and gardens just go together. I thoroughly enjoyed this post - can't get over the lovely fabrics. Brilliant!
