Pink Saturday

oday is Pink Saturday and we are sharing our favorite Holiday movie.  Stop by Bev's place over at How Sweet The Sound if you would like to peek into all the pink posts sharing their favorite flicks.

My favorite movie is called The Holiday.

his enchanting cottage belongs to the character played by Kate Winslet.  She desperately needs to get away and receives an e-mail from the character played by Cameron Diaz who lives in a beautiful home in LA.  She also desperately needs to get away, so they decide to trade homes.

They swap homes and this romantic comedy begins as they find romance and hope in new love across the pond.

The movie stars Jude Law, Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jack Black, Edward Burns and Eli Wallach.

I have watched this movie so many times, and never get tired of seeing this lovely and romantic holiday movie.

he song for this post is part of the soundtrack from the movie The Holiday.

We watch that movie over and over...and never get tired of it! We love the stars..and the sweet story! Wouldn't you LOVE to have the 'tent' in the girls room? I dream of having a tent and really thought about making one in my doll room! What a magical idea! ♥

I have never seen that but heard about it when I had netflix. I'll have to look for it. Hubby doesn't watch any of that mushy stuff but if it's funny I'll force him to watch it....hehe..

Amanda and Iris are both such hoots, aren't they?!? And this sweet movie also helped me fall in love with Jack Black, of all people!! The cottage is just dreamy, isn't it? I read how they hurriedly constructed the exterior just for the movie on Lookiloos blog!

Happy PINK SATURDAY!
