and life goes on as usual.
Yet, today I feel sad, so sad about Japan
and all the people who are suffering in so many parts the world.
It makes me feel so shallow to go on as if all is well with the world.
And then I draw closer to the Lord.
It makes me want to spend my day in prayer.
I know what you mean, Karen. I am stopped in my tracks all throughout the day as visions of Japan and the devastation become so real. It really does make you appreciate all the little things that go unnoticed in your life. Thanks for your post. It is beautiful.
I have been praying throughout the day...every day since we woke up to the news. It's a sadness that we will carry for awhile! But life does go on...for us at least and we can be extra thankful for what we have. Hugs to you, my friend! ♥♥♥
Beautiful heartwarming post today. Yes, there are times when we feel like there is nothing we can do in certain situations. But the most powerful thing we can do is PRAY. You have expressed those sentiments in a lovely way. God is our sustainer. ~~Sherry~~
I watched Charles Stanley from Intouch Ministries in Atlanta this morning before I went to Church and his sermon on Prayer on our Knees was the most powerful I have ever heard.
h yes dearest, I know. Before I had heard the news, I was planning a fun and frilly post, but I could not do it. And now a volcano eruption? There is nothing left to comment, but to pray. That mushroom photo is gorgeous....Anita
Amen...
I too am feeling the loss and depression of the Japanese, who were just living their ordinary, every day lives, as we all do, when WHAM, their lives have been turned topsy turvy, to never again be the same. My heart and prayers go out to them at this time. May God's love and peace sustain them in ways they never imagined.
This event has made me oh so thankful for our blessings small and great.

When we are at our most helpless, I feel so blessed to have the lord to call upon for comfort.
Not only for those who are struggling but for those of us who feel powerless.
I, like you, am keeping them and us all in my prayers and am so thankful for the peace he brings me.
Hugs
Claudia
