It seems like just yesterday when my friend Judy took me to an art exhibit in New Jersey.
There we met Susan Rios and my love affair began.
Judy and I still adore everything that Susan Rios creates. We both subscribe to her newsletter.
What lovely news when I saw on her Facebook that she is selling mini prints of her gorgeous paintings on her etsy shop...
Susan Rios Designs
I remember at my baby shower for my first daughter, Judy knew just what the expectant mother needed...The Art of Susan Rios coffee table book filled with Susan Rios inspiration.
As I think about it, Judy's message stayed with me throughout my adventures of being a wife and stay-at-home mother. I had a lovely secret identity all to myself through being an artist. We all need something all to ourselves defining us, when the demands of family might make us forget who we are.
I still use that book for inspiration. Here are a few lovely new mini prints from Susan. If you click on the photo it will take you to the listing.
Oh yeah, that love affair I mentioned...it was my love affair with painting. I guess at that time, when I first met Susan Rios I was Waiting For My Real Life To Begin. And I found it!
Wishing you a Pretty Inspired Wednesday.

Oh I recognized her work right away if not the name. Such delightful things. There's one she's done of an open French door with the sea beyond and those beautiful sofas and cushions of hers. Must see if I can find it. I'll be very surprised if it's not hers.
You do the most incredible work on your blog. I believe i write that every time I post. It is a visual box of peanut m & M's my favorite~~~ I have loved Susan's work for decades, but lost track of her. Thank you for catching me up. A very talented lady....You have paid such a beautiful tribute to her. She will be thrilled. Anyone you pay tribute to is fortunate indeed. Your blog inspires. me. Warmly, Sharon
