Christmas Tree Inspiration

IMG_0321As I had mentioned on my last post about Christmas Tree inspiration. This year the Concord Museum is celebrating the 16th Annual Family Trees. A Celebration of Children's Literature.  It will be held until January 1, 2012.

When I saw this charming Alice tree, I fell in love.  Each ornament was made to feel as though the characters from the book by Helen Oxenbury had hopped onto the tree.

Here is a photo of the illustrator in her studio.  I found such an enchanting interview.  I could listen to this amazing illustrator forever.

The families of Concord decorated all of the trees in the museum.  I think this was one of my favorites.

Although, there are so many Christmas Tree Inspirations at the museum, each storybook is enchanting.

Speaking of inspiration, I love to listen to the Carpenter's at Christmastime.  Like Sleigh Ride.

For some enchanting English Christmas inspiration, you must stop by French Country Home and see the Silver Christmas Inspiration.

I just wrote a new post on my French Script Blog for a new Baby and Nursery Fabric Collection.

Pink Saturday is filled with Christmas inspiration.  Stop by Bev from How Sweet The Sound to be inspired.

What a joy they must be, to visit.

The tree is ready, the candles alight:
Rejoice and be glad, all children tonight!"

Oh Karen,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!! I WISH YOU A safe and pleasant drive to beautiful Vermont, and I send you a big hug and "THANK YOU" for your kind words. Yes, the world is spinning out of control, and I think a lot of people KNOW that and are wanting to turn to the simplicity of turning to things that REALLY MATTER. Bless you dear friend, Anita

Happy Pink Saturday! I'm pinking by 4's (my link is #104). As I was reading your post, I popped up to the sidebar for some reason . . . can't remember why now. I just love your profile photo. Concord? as in New Hampshire? I have a very good friend in New Hampshire and have driven down main street in Concord. The tree really is awesome. I think I'll browse here just a tad. I really need to clean house . . . with some Pinking in between. Thanks, Jenn

Oh how I love children's books and wish I could attend this event! What an adorable tree! I purchase a new children's Christmas book each year and delight in reading them all! Combine that with Karen Carpenter's beautiful voice and this is pure bliss.
