Snow. I heard the weatherman say that we might be getting snow on Christmas day. Now don't pack your bags just yet.
Maybe we'll get just some pretty white stuff dusting everything. I don't feel quite ready for one of those New England Blizzards just yet.
There have been years when we couldn't even walk through to the Gazebo.
Why Samantha and Cocoa could hardly walk through the snow last year.
So, just a dusting please.
Yes, just in time for Christmas.
The song for this post is White Christmas, sung by Michael Buble.
Now have you had snow where you live yet? Yes, I am dreaming of a White Christmas.
Have A MERRY CHRISTMAS.
I love your pictures! They truly make me dream of a White Christmas!!
We had a bit of snow last week but our temps have been in the 40's and it melted quickly. Perhaps this week, they say, I hope so!
XO,
Jane
We have had two major snowfalls, but it hasn't stuck. You do know that John is responsible for this, right? That man can pray. He's on the last bit tomorrow so it's wide open after that. I told him that lots of folks were beginning to pray in earnest for snow so he'd have to get a move on.
I know that you'd like only a dusting, but wouldn't getting snowed in while visiting in Vermont be kind of lovely after a fashion? Dreamy I say.
Enjoy a wonderful Christmas there...
Here in south Texas...snow is only a dream...., but I
sure love dreaming and looking at the lovely pictures that my dear friend post.
Love you...Karen!
Karen we have not had very much, one major dump but most of it went and just a skiff on the ground. very rare for here. It was a year ago that you got me interested in picnik and I need to thank you for that. I have had a lot of fun with it. I think your gazebo is wonderful and so wonderful in your pictures. merry Christmas if I am not back before the holidays. hugs.
We have had a tiny sprinkling but today is going to get up in the 50's! A little snow is forecast for Christmas eve though, and I really hope it comes. perhaps the only time of the year that I dream of snow! lol.
Merry Chrstmas my friend!
we almost had a white halloween but christmas may just be green. we'll see!
wishing you a happy and healthy holiday season, dear karen

Beautiful snow pictures Karen! We had flurries in October, but nothing since. It looks like our Christmas is going to be sunny and in the 50's. I would love a little dusting of snow.
Have a wonderful Christmas....

no snow for us here in Dorset UK. Your photos are wonderful. Have a wonderful xmas hugs Sara
Your snow photos are some of my favorite photos of the year...on any blog! Enjoy your week! Happy holidays! ♥
Sweet friend,
We have no snow here, but that is not changing my view that even here, this is the most magical time of the year. Lovely photos as always, for they reflect your love of New England, and the magic that is found in the garden of delights...Anita
No snow here, in ages. Me thinks we are having a "Little Ice Age But With No Snow", this year in the NE. (Europe had a Little Ice Age, a long time ago, so why not?)
A dusting for Christmas would be lovely, but I'm not "holding my breath" as they say. :-)
"Did you ever wonder about the Victorian version of sugarplums dancing around every one's head in "A Visit From St. Nicholas"? Sugarplums were exotic sweetmeats, a combination of fruit and nuts, traditionally available only during the holidays."

These are such beautiful images Karen.
I wish you a wonderful Christmas.
Snow in south Texas...that's a dream of all the children...won't happen.
