What I wouldn't give to walk into that shop.  Next best thing, some of her enchanting and inspiring supplies for scrapbooking and crafts will be available in Michael's and other craft shops in this month.  Squeal again.

One of my favorite books of Kaari Meng's is Treasured Notions.  My first love, her first book, The French Inspired Home.

Now you can create lovely things with Kaari's new French General product line from Joilee's Boutique products.  Oooh, they would make a nice inspiration board.

So final stop, here is an overview of French General new products at CHA

Whether you scrapbook, craft or just love Kaari Meng's inspiration, you'll love this eye candy.

I hope you enjoyed the little trip today.  Don't forget to stop by Focusing On Life, if you get a chance, and please leave a comment or share a photo.

Please pour yourself another cuppa for your travels.  Wear a hat, it's a little chilly out there today. Today is Pink Saturday and Bev from How Sweet The Sound is hosting, so stop by and get inspired.

The song for this post is Sweeter.  This little tune sure made my day sweeter.

Inspiring is the color white

Today is the White eDition of Texture Tuesday, hosted by Kim Klassen.

I love the color white,

and I am especially fond of white blossoms in Spring.

and seeing white clothes on a line.

Or a beautiful white horse in a field.

And white can make me smile when I see a cutie white car.

When all is said and done the color WHITE, like the song says, it's ALL SMILES.

If you would like some more smiles, I promise that you will find them over at the White eDition.  I used Kim Klassen's Not Too Shabby texture on all of my photos today.  I also used it for the background too.

I hope that your day is filled with all smiles.

A Cottage by the sea

Last year I was at an art fair and found this wonderful little shell journal filled with watercolor papers.

It was made of real shells for the cover and stitched so perfectly.

Thank you Anita, she gave me this lovely shell tag and beautiful note in her gorgeous calligraphy.  The quote was so dreamy and perfect for my little daydream.

I have been filling the journal with little paintings.  Last year I sat in the gardens of Heritage Gardens in Sandwich on the Cape.  I painted the little cottage in this tiny journal.

I dream of having a little cottage by the sea some day.  And in case you do too, I created a little artwork for you.

You know the best part of daydreams?  They decorate your day. Sigh, a little music to daydream by, Fly Me To The Moon, sung by Diana Krall.

Bev, from How Sweet The Sound is hosting Pink Saturday, stop by and be inspired by all the pink posts.

Take time this weekend to daydream.

P.S.  Did you know that Susan Rios has a shop on etsy and sells the loveliest miniatures?  I just bought a little cottage by the sea.

The Magical World of Miniatures

Such a magical world,

where the miniature artist lives.

Beautiful little rooms, all reflecting the spirit of the little girl within.

I met Toni from Mostly Minis on etsy when I created a treasury.  The temptation was too great, I just had to have one of her creations.

Her work is gorgeous, look at the tiny new hardware and how she lined the drawers of this little desk and cupboard.

We chatted a bit, and when she found out that I designed fabric, she told me how much she loved French Script and dreamed of finding tiny Shabby Chic prints for her work.

So, I got busy and designed a collection I call My Dollhouse Fabric.  I chose some of my best selling fabrics on Spoonflower, and created the tiniest scale with the miniaturist in mind.  When it arrives, I will share it with you.

I stopped by Toni's shop tonight, and couldn't resist again.  I just bought the sweetest French chair, and she has another one of the sweetest chair.

She has some of the loveliest things, and her prices are wonderful too.

Squeal, just look at this pastry cart with handmade pasteries.  I didn't want to be greedy, but this is the sweetest!

Toni's shop is called Mostly Minis on etsy.  She has created a special coupon code which will give you a 10% off on her items. Just use KARENSBLOG as the coupon code when you checkout.

It's Monday and there has to be a mosaic to celebrate Mosaic Monday over at Little Red House.  Mary is hosting mosaic inspiration.
