The Magical World of Miniatures

Such a magical world,

where the miniature artist lives.

Beautiful little rooms, all reflecting the spirit of the little girl within.

I met Toni from Mostly Minis on etsy when I created a treasury.  The temptation was too great, I just had to have one of her creations.

Her work is gorgeous, look at the tiny new hardware and how she lined the drawers of this little desk and cupboard.

We chatted a bit, and when she found out that I designed fabric, she told me how much she loved French Script and dreamed of finding tiny Shabby Chic prints for her work.

So, I got busy and designed a collection I call My Dollhouse Fabric.  I chose some of my best selling fabrics on Spoonflower, and created the tiniest scale with the miniaturist in mind.  When it arrives, I will share it with you.

I stopped by Toni's shop tonight, and couldn't resist again.  I just bought the sweetest French chair, and she has another one of the sweetest chair.

She has some of the loveliest things, and her prices are wonderful too.

Squeal, just look at this pastry cart with handmade pasteries.  I didn't want to be greedy, but this is the sweetest!

Toni's shop is called Mostly Minis on etsy.  She has created a special coupon code which will give you a 10% off on her items. Just use KARENSBLOG as the coupon code when you checkout.

It's Monday and there has to be a mosaic to celebrate Mosaic Monday over at Little Red House.  Mary is hosting mosaic inspiration.

I've loved miniatures since I was a kid playing with my dollhouse (and making furniture for it!)

This is so cute ! It reminded me of my trip to New-York and my visit to FAO Schwartz where I saw a collection of miniatures houses and all sorts of objects, even dogs and cats ! I had never seen this before. I loved this post !

Magical, esp.seen with your music playing.I also have in the past set up a old fashion country kitchen in a box for miniatures. That was years ago and they still look brand new. It's a fun but addictive hobby.Boy the money you can spend on it is also huge. It's so much fun though.Denise

Karen, these are absolutely charming! And how very clever of you to create the fabric for the miniatures. That is just a brilliant idea! Look forward to seeing it when you get it in. And oh, Spoonflower, I really want to do some things there. I've had an account for AGES.

Wishing you a great week! – g
