Itsy Bitsy Inspiration

Isn't this chair adorable?  I purchased some doll furniture from Toni and fell in love with her workmanship and her style.  I purchased this little hutch from her.   Toni has a shop on Etsy called Mostly Minis.

She used my Shabby Chic Collection fabric to cover that French chair.  It looks so lovely.

She mentioned how she would love to see more shabby chic fabrics in doll house scale.   I didn't need much prompting to get busy designing my Doll House Collection.

I love miniatures, and all things tiny. My sister, Susan is wonderful at painting in the tiniest detail, like this sunflower painting that she did for me.  Although she works full time, she still manages to be very creative:

Susan runs Global Knits, Vintage finds on Cafe dejavu, and Bijoux Assemblage jewelry.  Here is the link to her video showcasing her fiber art.  This is Susan's little dog, Fiona.

Lately I have been busy working with clients designing fabrics for weddings.  However, I have lots of miniature design ideas waiting on my desk.

So, it's back to creating Baby Shower inspirations for the baby shower which is next weekend.  Susan painted the pot of flowers in this photo too.

Meanwhile, I hope that you were inspired an itsy bitsy bit, and here's a
GREAT BIG wish for you to have a
HAPPY WEEKEND.

This post just makes me smile. There's so much charm in small. Love your wee vignettes and the teensy-weensy fabrics and paintings created by you and your sister.
