Advent Calendar Gift, Day 12

Welcome to the gift of an Advent Calendar.  I have always loved Advent calendars.  When I was little, I just couldn't wait to open each little door and find the surprise waiting there.

This Christmas I am turning my blog into an Advent calendar, so I can give you a Christmas surprise every day until Christmas.  Every day I will post downloadable artwork for you to use as my gift.

Today's gift is about thinking back to your  favorite Christmas Ornament that you loved to hang on the tree. Do you remember the beautiful memories of Christmas when you Believed?

Years ago I wrote a children's story  for my daughters and this is one of the watercolor paintings I used to illustrate the book for them.  It was all about the thrill of being little and allowed to hang the favorite ornaments on the tree.

I have created an 8" x 10" print, which will print nicely on an 8.5" x 11" sheet.  The name of the file is called Advent Gift Day 12, Christmas Ornaments, and you can download the file here.

I thought you might like to use this image as tags for your gifts.  So, I created a sheet of Christmas tags for you.  The name of the file is Advent Day Gift 12, Christmas Ornament tags.  You can download the file here.

While you drive to go Christmas shopping, or are decorating your home.  Take time to remember when you were a child at Christmas.  It's something I do at least once a day during this season.  I go back to that magical time, when I believed.

During the Christmas season, I will be creating more gift tags, Christmas stationery, and all kinds of art for you to use.  You can give the art as gifts, decorate your home or use on your Christmas crafts and cards.  If you miss a day, just click on this page, and you can see all the posts and artwork at a glance.

You can also find all of the artwork on my Pinterest Board called An Advent Calendar of Downloadable Artwork.  If you click the artwork that you like, it will lead you back here with the link to the download.

Those are darling tags! (Link seems to have a problem so I'll be back later to try and snag them again.)

How fun that you wrote a children's book for your girls. Have you published it? I think you should!
