Welcome to the gift of an Advent Calendar. I have always loved Advent calendars. When I was little, I just couldn't wait to open each little door and find the surprise waiting there.
Today's gift is about thinking back to your favorite Christmas Ornament that you loved to hang on the tree. Do you remember the beautiful memories of Christmas when you Believed?
Years ago I wrote a children's story for my daughters and this is one of the watercolor paintings I used to illustrate the book for them. It was all about the thrill of being little and allowed to hang the favorite ornaments on the tree.

While you drive to go Christmas shopping, or are decorating your home. Take time to remember when you were a child at Christmas. It's something I do at least once a day during this season. I go back to that magical time, when I believed.
