Baby Girls are made of sweetness and princess frogs

A Pink Princess Frog

Did someone just say frogs?  Yup that's the theme for next week's Spoonflower contest.  I couldn't resist.

I found the inspiration for this patchwork frog collection from my sister Lynne.  She makes lovely quilts, and made the sweetest patchwork frog for my Mom.  So I used her inspiration for this fabric collection I call The Painted Pink Patchwork Frog.

Here are the fabric designs in the collection. I also illustrated a sample baby quilt, using A Pink Shabby Chic Frog as the backing.

I have been obsessed lately with Baby Einstein videos for my Grandson, this one is so lovely.

Well, I had to design a collection while I was dreaming of frogs, little girls and lullabies.  This design is called A Pink Patchwork Frog.

As I devour tons of books on quilting, I find I am dreaming in hexagons lately.

A Painted Patchwork Block

I thought this design would make a perfect baby quilt.

The Pink Princess Frog Pillow

Let's make a pillow.  This fabric is called The Pink Princess Frog Pillow, and it measures 18" x 18", so that you can cut and sew pillows.  I made it a repeat, so it would be lovely in any sewing project.

I have sent away for the fabric samples and I love that my designs will be available in wallpaper, decals and gift wrap.

You can vote for your favorite Frog Fabric on Spoonflower.

I am linking to Pink Saturday, hosted by Bev from How Sweet The Sound.

Thank you for letting me a have a bit of show and tell.

How adorable! I like how you have created something very feminine but not at all saccharine. It would make cute curtains too.

I like the hexagon pattern set off with the diamond shape. That's new to me and so neat. I feel as if I would like to redo my geometry class.
