What Inspires Me

I was thinking about things that inspire me.  I have always loved this song, Mindy Gledhill inspires me.

Thank you Mindy, your music has lifted my spirits more times than I can count and it continues to inspire.

As I watched my little Grandson RJ last night, I thought about how is face inspires me.  Now this song has even more meaning and inspiration for me.

Thank you RJ you bring joy into my life everyday.

One of the most exciting parts about designing fabric is seeing what people create using my designs.  These people truly inspire me.

Judy Ginns from Chasing Mini on Etsy is creating lovely dresses as always.  This one she used a bit of my new bunting fabric.  I love what she does with my fabric.  This dress was designed for a Toddler girl size three years.  Isn't it yummy?

Thank you Judy, you continue to inspire me and inspire new fabric designs.

I love it when people ask for something special, or take my fabrics beyond what I could imagine.

My lovely customer Kristin Gammill asked me to create a larger scale print of my Parisian French script fabric.  She had this amazing duvet made and shared it with me last night.

Thank you Kristin, you made my day.  You must feel like a princess sleeping in this lovely bed.

Isn't it gorgeous?  I have an inspiration board on Pinterest, dedicated to my Customer Creations.

Besides bunting, French designs and little girl inspirations, I love Hydrangeas.  A customer named Renee contacted me recently and asked if I could create fabric with Hydrangea dishtowels.  I designed these Dishtowels by the Yard especially for Renee.  Here is what they look like.

This is how it looks by the yard, four print on a yard of Linen-Cotton Canvas fabric.
I just ordered a yard and I will cut and sew them to share once I receive my fabric.  I have other designs, but I like this set because each one is different style.  I am offering them also for commercial use.  So those talented Etsians can purchase them by the yard and sell them in their shops.

Thank you Renee, your inspiration helped me create something unique and practical.  And now I am inspired to create even more dishtowels.

You know what I love about being inspired?   It makes me feel like a kid again!

I hope that you enjoyed my show and tell.

Thank you for being you,
you inspire me every day.

Wishing you a lovely weekend.

What a thrill to see the creations and I really like the complementary quality of the dishtowels...very companionable. It may go without saying that your grandson is as cute as cute can be, but I'll say it anyway...such a cutie! Being a grandmother swells the heart. It really does.
